  • Anyone who caught The Quireboys live 89-93 will have often seen the Red Dogs playing with them. Footage has recently been rediscovered and is now on youtube. Do a search for "Red Dogs Working Late" to bring up the video for the single or "Red Dogs Super Channel" for two live tracks and small interview. Hope it brings back memories for some of you.

  • nice

  • Oh hell that was FINE!!!!!!!!! He gives me shivers with those eyes!

  • I stopped listening to the charts in 1987. For me that's when all the shite started flooding our airwaves (Minogue, Bros etc...) so this song (which only reached No.36 what bollocks is that?) was overlooked. Thankfully a freind of mine who I met last year introduced me to this belter of an album, and The Black Crowes. So a big thank you goes out to Chelsea Mick.

  • @texterr what the heck asre you talking about? all that i did was asked what year this was

  • @jrwall100 sorry if it was a legit question. it sounded like you were being one of those sarcastic pricks who likes to talk shit about the 80's scene. one of the "get with the times" assholes who think rap or gay ass bands like fallout boy and simple plan are what's cool. the music scene today sucks compared to the talent and sound of 80's bands.

My dad's Name is Rudy Richman

Played In the Quireboys, Lone Justice

played with Edgar Winter, Belinda Carlisle, Warlock, Axxis

Toured with Bon Jovi, Aerosmith,The Rolling Stones, Poison

Sharon Osbourne was the manager of the Quireboys

Do you think I would Know all this stuff if I was lieing and he wasn't my dad.

    He is!

  • @chickenandababy I saw the Quireboys back in 88-89. They played a small club in Anaheim called Jezebels. It was a warm up show before they went on tour with Aerosmith. I met Ozzy and Sharon that night because they were sitting at my station (I was a barback at the time) and I served them water all night. Around closing time the bouncers got rude and started taking the beers from the band and I would grab the beers from the bouncers and give them back to the band. The band were really cool,

  • @chickenandababy Hey dude! Can you ask your dad whatever Happened to Guy Bailey? Why did he leave? I think I heard something about him owning a pub now somewhere in england(?) He was the one that did all the slide stuff right? It's so confusing... I mean, two guys, both playing guitar, both named "Guy"(!) lol!

  • @SuperGuitarNerd Yeah Well all i know is that guy left the band know nothing else

    but i will ask him!!!

they used to call guy griffin griff because they would get mixed up

  • that's my dad on drums

  • I love this album!! What would it take to get you to send me this video?

  • yeah - a shameless Faces rip-off, and given that Dog D'amour had been doing it, but more and better, for years before, the Quireboys were lucky. But.. still a good tune, and if I remember right, they could do it live too. Kentish Town in December anyone?

  • Brings back memories of my time in London - never wanted to wait until 7 o'clock though :-)

  • Just hit 7:00 my time...time to break out the booze on this hot Summer night!

  • Like rod the mod many years before, but thats not taking anything away from this fantastic band.

  • Love this song! Is there any city's in America that a Radio Station's that play's this ...where I'am from they don't and act like they never heard of it.. If so I want to move there ..let me know!!!

  • I dunno, but in Montreal they have a classic rock station called ''Chom FM'', where Saturday nights between 8pm-11pm they play '80s. look them up. you can listen online.

Chom FM has been around for 40 yrs now, and they always play the best.

  • remember seeing them support the cherry bombz when they were called the queerboys, bought their demo tape with this on and 4 others..must be worth a bit!

  • my fave song from this great, underrated band.

  • Underrated for sure. They really remind me of Faces (Ian McLagan, Ronnie Wood, Ronnie Lane, & Rod Stewart)

  • I think the Faces comparison is exactly what they wanted you to think. I thought of them as an almost shameless Faces tribute band. They were good at it, though.

  • All know about these guys is that the bass player is Phil Mogg of UFO nephew. Damn they rock. Remind me of the Faces...

  • spike has such an awesome vox !!!! one of the best i've heard in a really long time !!
