Beautiful. Thank you, Mister Duncan. The nearest I get to this in New York City is the New Year's Day walk with the Appalachian Mountain Club. Across the Hudson River from New York lies Palisade Interstate Park, part of several gifts from several 19th century robber barons that ensures that beautiful country so close to NYC will never be developed. And it's easy to get to. I do feel blessed by this, but I would very much love to hike in your neck of the woods as well. Very beautiful.

I really love these misty frosty winter days. I love the winter trees and the bone chilling cold. It's October now, I can't wait for winter. I hope we get lots of days like this and not so many of the wet warm kind.
