okay, am i the only one with this problem?

i use flash CS5, and the stop() funtion doesnt seem to work, the flash just flashes for a frame, then black for a while, flashes back the poll reset, black again, what am i doing wrong?

I haven't seen any other comments about this so I'm not sure what the problem is. But when I try to export it, it comes up with errors that say

"1084: Syntax error: expecting identifier before dot."
