docters just mess up the eye more, i had one simple re attached retina surgery and it led to 4 other surgerys, now i have pain in my head everyday, for 3 years now. along with glaucoma. all they say is we dont know what to tell you.
I got hit in the eye by some drunk years ago back in 2002, I didnt notice my vision change till 2006, but ever since that one so called simple reattached retina surgery, I get headaches almost everyday with eye pain. no answers either.
Hmm... I wish I woul'd have been recorded during the surgery and had the chance to watch it. Well my retina was operated three times and... naah I will no longer see with my left eye. It is no longer vital. It has been about 6 years since I saw not a sign of light with it. But I'm realy interested to know deeper about it...and the reason why doctors gave me a false hope in the past...I could see with it when the problem appeared just...the retina was damaged. Now I see nothing at all. O well....
If I and my loved ones could buy my vitre-retinal surgeon all that he desired we would but I can't so I can offer eternal thanks and gratitute ! Its only been 3 weeks since very complicated PDR related 2nd vitrectomy and retinal reattachment and there is some vision ! Cheers to you all who make this fanastic thing happen. x
To be honest, I can't remember. This is the (very) short version of a training video I made for nursing staff where I work. It's 25ga. surgery....probably a epiretinal membrane. I was more interested in showing the setup and trocar placement.

Excellent video, what was the patient in for and how long did the entire surgery take?
