  • Have you used it and did it work out for you ?

  • Out of all the tractors that I have saw. This is the 1 I'm going to build .. Thank you !

  • great design, love it!

  • Nicely done.. This demonstrates how a good tractor can be moved around easily. A great design!

  • How many chickens can you comfortably put in a 4x4 coop? Does the run need to be proportionate as well? If you move it more often, can the run be smaller?

  • nice and easy!!

  • hi folks, nice video, green power at work,

please could you evaluate our new chicken

tractor we have a 3d model and are

constructing prototypes, the concept is to

have a slow moving cage, thank you kindly

  • Looks to me like the idea is to cut the lawn without using a mower !!!

  • I think anyone who has read more than two paragraphs about chickens will understand this just fine.

Some 13 yr old looking for a spat however will just get bored & move along.

It says chicken tractor right in the title you wouldn't look for that if you didnt already understand the concept of what a chicken tractor did.

  • A chicken tractor is just a portable coop and run. It provides the chickens with a safe place to live and it can be moved to fresh ground every few days. Moving the tractor regularly keeps the grass from being destroyed and it give the birds new ground for hunting bugs and eating greens. Plus they leave fertilizer behind.

The purpose of this video is to show how easily the coop can be moved. We also tried to showcase a few of the coop's other features.

  • Pretty smart invention, but not a well-convceived video at all. Looks to me like the idea is to fertilize a long narrow strip of ground with a day or two or more's worth of chickenshit, then to move the whole chickencoop-on-wheels over to the next row of the garden or whatever, etc., until you've covered the entire desired area. But the video doesn't show a single chicken and offers no explanation. Not everyone will figure this out.
