There were 2 transmissions in this vid.. the powershifts are all done on a Faceplated TKO... while all the n20 passes and normal driving was done with a regular TKO. Both blew up.. ;)
I have a built AOD.. but im going to sell it... Mcleod just came out with the M800 transmission that can handle over 800hp.. regular synchro trans.. 5 spd and weighs 40lbs less than tremec.. so imma jump on that!

no goodies.. just a built aod with a 3500 non lockup stall.. well see if it lasts the season... the car wont be running for awhile cause im rebuilding the motor and putting a cage in.

Had nothing to do with how I drove the car on the street either, I was told it was the shockload of my spec 3+ clutches fault. Reality is: My regular tremec's 2nd rebuilt lasted 2 years under extreme stress before it started locking out gears and I lost reverse randomly. For a faceplated built tranny to blow up in 2 months, I don't care to get on my back and pull another transmission out.
if u really wanna go fast u go with the auto. period. sticks are just fun... but the reality is auto are the world leaders on the strip. if u wanna have fun... shift gears. if u wanna pass GM cars... go auto.
@blueoval331 sure, there aren't very many if any 5-6 second stick cars, but i'm not thinking snizzy's going for a 6 second car here..and the dude can drive...to constantly rebuild t5s would suck. Snizzy, ever think about trying a t56?
