Did you replace your Casio EX-H10 with another camera. I also have the Casio EX-H10 camera and it takes bad concert videos. Any suggestions on which camera to buy.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for this vid. I love going to gigs and want a camera suitable for that, was gonna buy the H15, but.. hm.. proably not! :P Panasonic Lumix tz7 seems better now, even tho the 1000 pic battery sounded great..
@DrSequoia After returning that one I got the Canon PowerShot S90, mainly because of RAW shooting capabilities in such a small camera. I'm really happy so far. I didn't have the chance to do concert recording with it yet, but it was doing ok in nosy environments so far. Let me quickly upload a video for you... :D
oh well.. if you want to film concerts why do you buy an digital camera ? this is made for pictures and not videos i got it and the sound quality is really NOT bad ! and of course if its too loud the sound will distort or whatever...and you said there were broken pixels...maybe a defect O_o ? anyways i like this camera much !

This video is recorded in HD? I'm sure that no. I have this camera and it is great!

@SpainCyrus No, as you can see it's not, but I doubt that the sound quality would be any better with HD video.

I have the DMC-TZ5. At the moment of purchase it was the only compact camera capable of 720p recording.
And I have to say that the sound quality is even was on that one. Not to mention it has a weaker battery.
I've been using it for a couple of years, but now I'm looking for replacement.
Have you found something actually usefull for concert shooting?
I would appreciate your suggestion.
Thanks.

@CPScast
Thanks, that's an interesting idea.
I haven't heard of this camera and it seems to be very nice: a powerful tool in such a small body.
I'd be happy to watch your sample vids.

@DrSequoia Ok, I'll get something ready in the next few days.

Mein aktuelles Modell: Sony DSC W290
guter Sound aber kein Zoom beim filmen....deshalb kaufe ich mir jetzt die: Lumix TZ7 oder Sony WX1....

@4rgp oh well because you can't take DSLR's or camcorder's or whatever into the venues, security won't let you.
I'm sure you can have great fun with this camera, this is just a sample for people who might have the same intentions as I did.
