ok i was just wonering very nice vids im working on a v plow 4 my truck 2 but i cant get the hidolics rit they keep snapping o and excuse my spelling ;(
Sorry, no time for that. It was fairly complicated to build, because you can't just buy an appropriate brush like that. I used 2 inch sections of toilet bowl brushes. :o) They had to be drilled perectly on center, and I used a lathe for that, and on and on. Fun project though.
this is one of the greatest things i have seen!

what happens when they wear out
SuperSlipman1 2 years ago
Not likely to happen. I made it mostly for the engineering challenge...I've only used it a couple of times.

That's pretty cool. I miss living up north, I would definitely make one if I had snow to play with :(
DoraggPvp 3 years ago
I never have tried it in snow....I wonder how well that would work. I thought it would be a fun way to sweep up my shop when it gets messy.

What kind of truck is that?
mattyboiz944 3 years ago
what motor?
rcisme1 3 years ago
Just a standard, unmodified motor runs the sweeper. Like the one that comes with kits.

thanks

did u use a belt or gear box
rcisme1 3 years ago
I used a belt...or more specifically, a round rubber gasket.

is that a vacuum head? u should make one that vacuums ur house lol,
95666 4 years ago
No, the brush is actually small sections of toilet brushes, fitted together on a threaded rod.
Hmmmm...a vacuum...
Timm125 4 years ago
u could just sit on the couch or whatever and drive it around the house, and tell someone u had to vacuum all day, and how much hard work it was lol.
95666 4 years ago
very fun, but it would always be much faster to just, erm, sweep it :D

wow that was sweet

Thanks...It's a Tamiya F-150.
I have tweaked the sweeper since I shot this video, but haven't played with it yet.
Timm125 4 years ago
Great stuff dude, I hope you become rich with your ideas, keep up the great work.
sylvainster30 4 years ago
Thanks. I doubt I will get rich with this sort of thing, but it is fun!
I have tweaked this design now a bit, but I still haven't done any new tests with it. It could still use a larger drive pulley.
I'll probably also make a single stage snow blower using the same basic design.
Timm125 4 years ago
u would get rich...i would buy like 5 for me and my friends...great work

how come youllike to plow stuff?
monboy10 5 years ago
I like creating things. If they are somewhat useful, as well as amusing, it's all the better.
:o)

Good job, i like rc models, and i`m street sweeper driver, (check my videos).Maybe you can try with a vacuum street sweeper using one EDF...
JAALMARZA 5 years ago
