@123bonitas But isn't Dragon symbol of evil in Bulgaria like in other European cultures? Dragon in Korea has very positive meanings. In Korea we call it Mir (or Yong). What do you call Dragon in Bulgarian?
@Cheon1Son We call it Zmey . And it comes from serpent. As for its meaning, it's questionable. In the folklore, they usually guard water sources or wells and usually it takes a hero to kill the Zmey and to restore balance. Also they tend to kidnap young girls to eat them, but in the fairytales, they are never eaten, instead they are kept prisoners. So the hidden sexual message is pretty clear.
@Cheon1Son Also, according to the Thracian mythology, the human soul passes trough 4 stages: human, hero, demon and god. So you have to kill something like a serpent, to become a hero, and I think that when you become a demon, you become something like a serpent. So it makes sense that their meaning is not entirely negative. More likely they represent the hidden power of Nature.

@Cheon1Son
Dragons could also have been Serpents.
Originally, before christianity, serpents were considered benevolent.
And in the Anceint Schools of Wisdom, the serpents represented the kundalini.
It was only christianity that twisted everything, thurned ancient knowledge upside down.
