for a vampire movie a genre I hate it kept my attention for a while.I have to say it was pretty vague and underdeveloped a little too man driven with tits everywhere as well.I kept thinking now wouldn't it have been better if they added this or gotten rid of that and oh hey it's marylin manson and mr.jessica simpson felt like I had a.d.d.anywho,James was of course as great as any villian could be and hot.the movies he acts in may flop but there never seems to be a dull moment with this guy.

just found this in my friends movie collection.wanted to see it for a while.was so excited.watched it and I have to say it wasn't as bad as people were saying it was.could of used a bit of work.a little less vague and rushed than it was but not a bad way to pass the time.and james d'arcy is always lovley to see.my equivalent of a man's lucy lui or jessica alba=) lucy's not that bad of an actress either.

thats becuase the movie isn't about vampires its about the occult , witchcraft, satanism. Just becuase your undead does not automaticlly make you a vampire. There are other species in the Dark World that so many of you are forgeting. Demons, gouls...werewolves, zombies, etc. Look it up. This movie should not be judged on the vampire basis unless you see fangs or it says it is a vampire movie. It says its an occult movie not vampire.
