To those of you who do not understand - listen for the simplicity. Letting go of your "thoughts" and simply allowing yourself to be in a meditative state while you sleep is a simple thing. It is not doing something, but simply NOT clouting your mind and being with thoughts of the day.
Lies and difficulties hide in the complexities that we put into our minds throughout the day, and especially when we lie down to sleep. You CAN meditate when asleep - you SHOULD.
He is saying learn the art of meditation into every moment of your life and not just in sitting meditation, its just that if you consider sitting meditation separate to the rest of everyday affairs then the sitting meditation will be of no "use", first observe your thoughts and try not to get involved in them, then remain the observer noticing the thoughts, learn with continued practice to only observe without judgement
i knew it! one of the most stressful times in my mind is right when i am trying to fall asleep. i think too hard about what i will do the next day. i worry too much that i will forget my the time i get up in the morning(which i have done a lot). maybe it's counterproductive...
pain has no reason but dicomfort of flesh, meditation has ndrstanding of no bounds of ownershnd ship you have no conection to earthly crap, the devils storage of unvaluable items that parish, we do not parish but we can be owned, owned by a creator or owned by a dominator, I say love everyone everything appretiate dont be posessed by and stay free to fly meditate in peace, be your own God and Hell!
meditation is a simple desire to transform due to experience.. delt with pain.. meditation is the desire to crack the shell.. meditation is not only sitting like an idiot every day thinking you will evolve for a weak purpose! you have to DEMAND!!!! and value vital celebration for the pain THY felt and overcomed!!! meditation is always having THE DESIRE to fly like a nuclear warhead into the spaces of higher consciousness!? feeling the beauty of the awakening!!! at all TIME of existence!
Yes it did look like he was 'flipping the bird' when he said 'I say this to them' ..... in response to people who say they don't have time to meditate. LOL !! good one
What is the music that is played at the beginning of the program? Also this dude is the truth. I have been meditating before sleep for almost a year and my lucid dreaming is better than when I was a child. I had to start keeping a journal because the lines between reality and dream were blurring when I "wake up" here.
it's clever~! exactly what i need for now. thx for posting. LOVE IT.
I've always been perplexed a'bt "no time" to meditate(I know I know it's indeed "no will"), now I can take fully advantage of my bedtime and I believe that'd as well remind me of the 1st thing while I get up in the morning: meditate. be centered.
thanks Osho ur always sweet to me.
FYI, depending on Chinese "golden flower"meditation esoterica, 11 PM is the best timing to absorb energy from Universe.
Meditation is about being constantly aware of the present moment, not being interested in memories (past) or fantasies (future). At first, it always takes effort, because our minds dwell on those two tenses of time. But as Osho has meant, it takes effort to be effortless. Only then will you fully understand effortlessness and what your effort was truly for. Staying effortlessly in the present is what meditation is all about. Then you mind/body construct will move as nature with nature.
@TaoTrinity@TaoTrinity I agree except for the "not being interested in memories or fantasies". You can think about the past or experience a fantasy completely in the now. And it's good to still have the opportunity to learn from the past and get inspired by fantasy's (imagine what an artist would be without fantasy). What matters is that you don't develop craving or aversion to past or future
the problem I have is that meditation takes a lot of concentration to maintain my state of mind, which is the opposite of being relaxed.. any solutions wd be appreciated (:
thnks alot my MASTER for a such a gr8 IDEA....

OSHO? NEKI -1) SU PRIMIJETILI DIJAMANT U NJEMU,ALI SU SE NAORUŽALI
I ČUVAJU GA.2)SU ISTO PRIMIJETILI DIJAMANT U NJEMU,ALI SU POČELI
"KUHATI" PLANOVE DA GA UKRADU.NEKI 3) SU VIDJELI GOVNO U OSHU,
ALI SU glupi,I NISU SHVATILI DA GLEDAJU SVOJ ODRAZ U DIJAMANTU.
