I don't understand how God first created Adam, a race, both male and female, NOT Adam and Eve), and that race simply begat another race named Seth. Total different geneologies than Adam and Eve, with Cain and Abel
Uses "ancient science" and not the truth? Riiiight....
If Adam wasn't real then... original sin isn't either. Original sin is the "ancient science" for "understanding morality". Pick and choose what is and isn't real. OK.
@gab4nuke Hi, Original sin has two components: (1) First sin of a person, that person is Adam (2) Sin transfers from Adam to everyone as their own. If no Adam, then no traditional belief in original sin. However, is sin real? Absolutely! Just look around. Thus, does sin enter the world? Absolutely, but not with Adam. Best, Denis
@DenisOLamoureux No. I disagree. Sin is not real. It is a RELIGIOUS concept. Original sin is an ancient answer to the the human, natural concept of ethic and morality and how we human KNOW right from wrong (or decide what that is). God made sin and knew it would come into the world. Sorry, not a moral system and one to be expected to adhere to.
