When these protesters say about the socialistic approaches to health care and government , what they dont realize is that their education, police, fire department, library, postal system are forms of socialisation. New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Iowa, Vermont, and New Hampshire all allow gay marriage. But even if it were a dismal one, there's no constitutional decree. It comes down to individual states.

coming from a westernized country with government supplied medicine...and is not the huge lines people say i wait maybe 30-45minutes to see a doctor in a hospital emergency room, this makes me sick that someone who is ill with a terrible disease has to sit on the side of a road and beg for his money because he is unable to work to pay for his medicine. this looks to me like a barbaric society, no care for anyone than themselves.

What I don't understand is these people don't even understand that ALL Western democratic countries employ SOME form of socialism, without necessarily being socialist. Hell, the American educational system is socialized! Nobody pays to go to public schools! But private school IS an option.

I grew up as a Republican in Columbus. I left Columbus in 1988. Not long after that I became a Democrat. When I go back to central Ohio, I am appalled at how narrow minded the white population of Westerville, Worthington, Powell, Dublin, etc are. They see me still as a Republican and the hatred that spews from their mouths towards non-white people is scary. Yet many of the ones that routinely call Obama the Nigger President are in high standing in their churches on Sunday.

The guy throwing the money at the Parkinson's protester is Chris Riechert, 40 and he lives in Columbus , Ohio. He lives a community called Victorian Village. Article is in the Columbus Dispatch. I think the protesters should sit in front of these tea baggers. It shows you what these people are really like as human beings.

A few FACTS for you:
1. The president has no power to raise taxes. That takes an act of Congress. That fact is in the Constitution. READ IT some day.
2. Neither the president nor Congress controls inflation. That's largely impacted by free market forces.
3. Since the day Obama took office, no federal taxes have been raised on people making less than $200,000.
If you're so damned "concerned" about the national debt, look at what happened to it under Bush. He's your culprit.
