I like this. A lot. I can't really word how great this is, despite your... let's say "minimalist" dancing :)
I've thought about doing some film work, and I'm building a new computer system that should be able to handle the rendering (relatively) well, its not a professional workstation card, which I know is recommended for high-res film renders, etc. Any tips for a beginner?
@jlue2051 I'm afraid so - i realise i cannot dance. I was actually dancing to a different song when i first recorded it - the song was originally going to be a chemical brothers song.
Well done man, really cool indeed. Only one thing I think would've made this ace is if there was just one guy in some scene among all the others just really breaking out like a dancing fool. Tho it sounds like it would've been difficult with your setup.
Well technically it is using the fundamentals of chroma key but without the equipment. I dressed all in black and filmed myself in front of a white bed sheet. Once i had cropped the footage i converted it to grey scale. Then i simply increase the contrast of the footage to such a degree that only pure black or pure white exist. Using this black and white footage i just invert it and use it as an alpha mapped video in my 3D software.
Well i was doing it off and on in between work so its hard to say, each shot probably takes about 2-3 hours to make and render out, about half a day to edit and filter, one evening to record the video,
awesome. thank you for the HD! I have two quick questions. 1: at 2:04, what type of effect did you use? It reminds me of the classic disco style and the video "Robot Rock" by Daft Punk. 2) Do you have a website? Thanks!
thats pretty fuckin sick. keep it up. check out the graphic for the video gifted by nasa. could be you one day.

That is really cool. Better than the official in my opinion, although I do like it.
The only thing I think could have been done better is the dancing, but that's the hardest part... lol
