Nice one. Not found any clips of Jason 'the boy wonder' (image appears 1m 47s) anywhere - he had a few good lines ('just markin your cards lads' and portrayed the role well. His mum was fit too but rarely seen.
The Shane Ritchie ones were awful! They were just weak, even on their own merit, a few good ideas, but that concept had been done and modernised with the "Lock Stock" TV series. The ones with his nephew Ray weren't bad, but thats because they still had Arthur Daley and the Winchester Club etc. But it was always about Terry McCann he was idol as a small child. Never got the white Capri though :(
Even though I was born in 79 which I think is the year Minder began, I remember watching this as a child. A show like this would not do well nowadays in this pretentious, stupid era. Thanks for posting.
I didn't mind the Shane Richie ones but of course wasn't on a patch with Minder. I think people got confused as it had the same title and decided not to watch it or even give it much of a go

Well now let me tell you Andrew. I was watchin Xfactor and they played this song. Now I remember it from when I was a tiny kid but couldnt pinpoint the name tho cud remember the faces. Remembered he was the father of Hannah Waterman - tracked it down.
So weird that even tho I was like prolly 1 years old I remember this its quite crazy. Never seen anything like this series since. Thanks for bringing it back to me else neva would have realised prolly.
believe it or not I played on that theme, the great days of TV --great actors, good stories and real musicians playing the theme--those were the days!
With all the coy looks and shy smiles they are giving each other, it looks as if there are gearing up to give each other a good bumming.

Gary, I thought Gary Webster (Played Ray) did alright after Terry.

I think Minder failed when Terry McCann was replaced by the other guy.
