It's currently at 387 Parts Per Million,in the Crutacious Period it was 10,000 PPM , it don't become a problem to us till around 8,000PPM , ideal Carbon level is around 2,000PPM which that is around 6 times more the level we have now, & lets not forget the hot & cold cycles when carbon transfers from the Oceans as well as the 11 to 16 year flood/drought cycles that play in to it as well as the suns solar sunspots & flares activities.

There is no defined number for a sustainable population. All that I can say is that education is the only humane way to stop unsustainable population growth. If anything, Aussies don't breed enough because we are generally well educated.
