  • Nice

  • Who sings that song where my help comes from?

  • It's big mike, he is a solid drummer.. he has gotten way better though if you seem in more recent videos.

  • Damn this was disappointing I wanted to see some drumming!

  • I wanna be on this level one day, playing drums in front of crowds for a living and doing it for God at the same time.

  • The Dude on the set is Horrible...are you retarded he got skills son you must just start listening to drummers..cause all those breaks and fills and play with Isreal you cant suck..he wont even let you get your sticks out the bag...your a clown....

  • meeeaaaann!!!!

  • Thats definitely not mike on the kit...that dude sounds horrible

  • mike clemons is a true drummer that gets down...he need to let me be his backup! Foreal though lol

  • Incase no one noticed Aaron dont like a whole entourage of followers all in his grill while hes playin and Directing!

  • hes layering brass from the triton with the vintage piano on motif!! :)

  • dang he still using a triton thats whats up

  • I wonder what sounds he is triggering from the Triton. He keeps on turning down the volume on it, but he never touches the keys. He's got to be layering sounds or something from it.... I wonder what though?

  • @theapex81 Aaron is controllin the triton with the motif...THAT'S MIDI BABY!!!!

  • @trulyfeproject Yeah I know that my man. I'm just saying I wonder what sounds specifically he's triggering from the Triton.

  • @trulyfeproject Yeah I know that my man. I'm just saying I wonder what sounds specifically he's triggering from the Triton. .... probably some strings.

  • mike coleman was that fat n it dont even look like him lmao dont be diddin ma man mike

  • No thats the first motif not the es it just a motif 7. You can tell by the faders cause on the es n xs the fader are out of the board n the ones on the originall motif are embeded into the panell . Look at it you will se the difference.

  • I do it all the time . This where people get mixed up. You run the midi chord OUT of the motif IN to the triton then the motif automatically become the controller where you can mix sounds from triton into the motif.

  • Aaron Lindsey is the same person who sings the song w/the chorus of "if you want to be free and be truly happy let me introduce you to a friend of mine" whew! lol anyway if anyone can post a video w/that song on it i would be so very much grateful! that song came on twice, 2 separate days when i was just starting up my vehicle. i was going through some things and i know that wasn't just by chance! :)

  • It should be illegal to be as good as Mike Clemmons!

  • 5:41-6:20 thats da best part!

  • That beat is ooo my jesus nice

  • what is that attack sound called that he uses on throughout the song Trading my Sorrows?

  • Its on thie triton...its either the power saw or super synth...i use those alot too

  • the beat on the chorus of new season is just straight ill

  • please post the rest! :)

  • hey como se llama el baterista de la banda? es muy bueno. me gusta como suena su drums y como ministra.

  • one of my all time favorite keyboard players along with Noel Hall, Tommie Walker, and of course Jamal Hartwell

  • THis Is AWESUM

  • WHoooa.THis Clip Is awesome!!Its so real..strange but it feels as if im actually in the concert due to the fact that there aint any mixing of sound. U guys Agree?

  • @nyknick2000 that is not mike. i dont think mike has ever been insulted this much! haha

  • @nyknick200 that aint big mike

  • @decentface he loss alot of weight homie this was like 3 years ago this vid

  • @toranz94 mike coleman was that fat n it dont even look like him

  • I noticed something starting @ about 5:20 . The board player adjusted the triton on top and it sounded like brass mixed in with the rhodes sound on the motif. If that is what happened, can someone tell me how to do that?

  • My guess would be that the motif is on a program which is layered and one of the layers is a rhodes&the other an open midi channel, lets say midi channel 2, probably marked as an 'external' sound source rather than one of the inbuilt motif ones. Then on the triton you can assign patches to different midi channels. My guess is that the brass sound is sent to, say midi channel 2 on the motif, so the motif is controlling the triton brass sound&the inbuilt rhodes sound on the motif. Make sense?!

  • hey can you explain more of how that whole rid would be setup and operated in dummie terms for me please!!!

  • He's adjusting the volume on the triton, so I'm guessing he's MIDIout of Motif (probably on VintageCase) to MIDIin on the Triton (hard to hear on this recording -- maybe sfzbrass hits?) and using the volume on the Triton to mix between the two.

  • midi cable does that mix......of sounds

  • just use it as a midi controller like a module......

  • hahaha

  • ye but they need to hear the singers too..and as i said it is also so the sound on stage isnt loud and confused...and i am a drummer and a sound engineer.

  • Do they really need Avioms? They're so close together surely there is no need?

  • great question, lol

  • they are not only for communication...it is a personal headphone monitor system...used to hear the other band memebers and singers and it is to keep the stage from sounding loud and confused..so i hope that answers ur question

  • Thanks for your reply, but i know what avioms are, i use them everyday in orchestra pits for musicals, we need them in musicals because we are so far apart and some instruments like the flute don't cut through in a live pit, and some keyboards aren't loud enough, but these guys are all sat together, next to each other, I just wondered if they really need them as they are so close and can hear each others playing? Do you use them in church settings?! Like i said i only use them on musicals.

  • All the sound is in the house so you can't hear. This also helps eliminate feedback. We use our avioms every Sunday. As you hear in this recording you hear nothing but drums and a little bass.

  • But we love overkill!

  • yea becuz even though they are close together the dont need to be coming out of amps and competing to hear themselves or each other and it greatly reduce the sound on the stage which cause feedbacking and sounding bouncing everywhere

  • @dejazzmon When you run through the house in mega churches sometimes the sound system is really loud coming through the speakers but musicians have to play softer throough their monitors thus the need for avioms.

  • @dejazzmon yes Avioms minimize stage volume and you dont have to keep asking the sound guy to turn up the vocals or other instrumnets, we use Avioms at my church and we are close together. It makes it alot easier to hear each other while protecting your ears, the whole band becomes tighter because they can hear each other clearly.

  • @dejazzmon they're probably playing to a click track.

  • @dejazzmon Avioms are not just used for ear monitors, you can use them to mix your vocals for your wedge's too. I like to hear my vocals in my monitor mix.

  • @dejazzmon Depends on how the room/mix is and on what they want to hear

  • @dejazzmon Sometimes in close proximity situations, in-ear systems can be used just as much to dampen sound as it is to amplify. I use my in-ears in conjunction with floor wedges so I can control what goes into my ears while still being able to feel what's coming from the floor.

  • @dejazzmon yes they do. when you play that close together and you use monitors you have to have them turned up so loud that it bleeds over

  • @dejazzmon they do if they're using a click track at least

  • @dejazzmon Click tracks, backing tracks.. Avioms are the best thing ever!

  • thanks for blesing me.

  • can anyone explain to me how he linked the boards to mix their sounds together. just wondering...MIDI CABLES?

  • Yes MIDI

  • yeahh!!!!

  • Here's my View on boards Fantom in the Studio and Motif Live. period no more to be said....I love the both separately.....

  • its a motif es 8 i believe....

  • naw thats a motif classic on bottom and a korg triton on top

  • NAW, that's a Motif ES7 on the bottom.

And a Triton 76 on top. Not sure exactly of model.

    Both great keyboards!

  • no Its a Motif classic on bottom its not es. and on top its a 76 triton pro the triton korg ever made

  • Ok you may be right :)

Either way the Fender Rhodes sounds on both are almost exactly the same

  • yea i kno they sound real good. the reason they sound the same is becuz they put some of the old sounds in the es model

  • I know.

In fact, almost ALL the same sounds lol, except for the pianos

  • yea. to me the old motif sounds better than the es. i really like the xS too

  • doc, u tight. you make any tapes i could please follow?

  • yep triton is a KORG keyboard

  • triton is made by korg!

  • what?

  • Is Aaron using a Trinton patch on motif es 7? Haha, roland beats yamaha on some sounds.

  • roland sucks. yamaha and korg are the top boards to choose from

  • whoa buddy roland is nice... all their boards are nice.. all 3 of them are nice..

  • lol they decent. but on the reall the the fantom is a beast studio board but as far as usin it during a actually performace like a live recording u dont wanna use it. i wouldnt use. but they did made up on the sound quality when they put out the G series.

  • to some degree the XP's beat the fantom when it came to some sounds. i own all most every keyboard/workstation thats out dea and i mastered using them all. so thats why i said that

  • lol they decent. but on the reall the the fantom is a beast studio board but as far as usin it during a actually performace like a live recording u dont wanna use it. i wouldnt use. but they did made up on the sound quality when they put out the G series.

  • if i was to use a fantom during a live recording i would use it as a auxilary board of brass or lead sound ect.

  • you right as far as brass and leads but you gotta play around wit the piano

  • the only piano sound i would use in are the Fm and fender rhodes piano's. the actually piaon sound sound like plastic or lil a tinker toy. the only piano patch in it i would only use is the "So True" it has some sick bass sounds

  • love the so true im lookin for a motif now time to get rid of the x6

  • you stone stupid roland is raw

  • lol roland is wack i admit i do like the G. but the best roland board is Xp series y u think major artist when they are using a live there board playas r usin a older model roland. now who is stupid u is...j/k. it does have some nice fender rhodes, bass, drum and lead sounds in it. but thats all

  • but the Xp series still beats the fantom haha

  • if u say but like i said i have almost every board ever made and its my personal opinion from my experiene with roland

  • Aaron you are the man.

  • is that bishop zachery tim church...lol....

  • yea it is

  • It's a GOSPEL PARTY y'all!

  • I miss lakewood church!!! i always see israel and cindy over there and theyre really anointed
