  • FACT: Did you know that Josip Broz Tito sold the Yugoslavian Space program to Kennedy,1 month before the speech? If there wasn't Yugoslavia,Apollo flight would be fiction!

  • Out of 360 million in the US there are some really intelligent people who should be in Washington and government who aren't they should be given credit and should be in government

  • Universal philosophy of Kennedy had a great impeact on the world a great president who inspired the US and was a terrific leader and speaker who still has a lot of influence and following with engineers and NASA like this current administration never will and should have never existed in 2008 many great potential candidates who didn't run not sure why

  • (Back Right) Didn't know Joe Biden was a Benjamin Button type of person.

  • The cold war tenseness was fought by the space agencies. Thank god we kept the nukes out of it.

  • god bless USA :)

  • what did Lyndon Johnson do after Jfk ?

  • Inspirational leaders such as JFK, MLK, Ghandi are a precious, rare commodity. Why do we not covet them and protect them?

Because they represent change--and are a threat to the status quo...inert politicans' greatest fear.

    Larry

  • The same noodniks who denigrate this country's greatest achievement by saying it was fake and we never landed on the moon are of the same mentality of those who say Obama was born in Kenya and has a fake birth certificate. Just like Kennedy, Obama believes that the U.S. should commit itself to doing "Big Things" such as finding alternative energy or promoting high speed rail instead of just giving fat cats big tax breaks like the Republicans want.

  • @bigmoemiami The space race was part of the cold war. If you want innovation from government, it needs to be fighting and competing against an equal nation, otherwise, it's best left to private industry.

  • Space exploration should be our among our top priorities.

  • Directed by "Joe King".. as in "Joking".

Man these people have had us fooled for YEARS! BY GOD the truth is stranger than fiction..

  • Johnson is such a fucking clown..

  • too bad almost the entire Kennedy clan after JFK and RFK was/is a complete embarrassment..

  • @dallas1963 that's kind of unfair to state considering that I have no fucking clue about your clan's and your very own achievements that match this

  • @arzgania ...I stand by my statement that the Kennedys have been , and continue to be a complete embarrassment...Bobby and JFK were great, but has been a joke since then ...and don't forget that the whole Kennedy dynasty started with the ill gotten gains of Papa Joe,particulary with bootlegging...

you don't really believe in the whole Kennedy Camelot thing, do you?..LOL

  • Alas, the actual achievement of that goal was and still is unfulfilled.

Regrettably NASA realised that the scientific and technical hurdles could not be surmounted within the time limit. In 1967 with the end of the decade fast approaching and with budgets blown out of all proportion, the task was assigned to the celluloid masters of Hollywood to create the believable illusion that "THE GOAL" would be achieved.

  • @yaluobud Show me a movie from 1969 with effects anywhere near that of the moon landing.

  • @EternallyRecurring

'2001 a Space Odyssey' (released 1968) MGM Studios (London) co-written by Stanley Kubrick and Arthur C. Clarke directed by Kubrick ~ with assistance and funding from NASA. Kubrick and his team developed the cinema-photography which was used a year later to fake the moon landings. '2001' had over 100 special effects artists working on the illusion of landing on and walking on the moon.

  • @yaluobud Nowhere close. It's a stationary object with a video screen behind them. It looks awful. They don't simulate low gravity either.

Did the offer from NASA include access to the alien craft from Roswell? How deep does this conspiracy rabbit hole go?

  • @yaluobud lol, to bad even the Russians said the USA went to the moon. if your greatest enemy even says they went really... you need to drop it.

also people when saying the moon landings are fake NEVER bring up the reflector panels left on the moon by the crews that went to them.

you are no different then the people who thought the earth was flat.

  • @Dogmeat1950

If the Russians were really the greatest enemy of USA, then why didn't the USA government expose the Gagarin hoax when the newspapers of the time were calling the exploit of Gagarin "The red hoax"?

And there was not the least protest from the American government!

Of course they were needing the silence of the Russians as a cover for their own fraud.

  • It breaks my heart to realize that if we'd pursued the space program into the 1970s and 1980s with the same dedication we gave to the Apollo program, we'd have a thriving Lunar colony, a presence on Mars, and possibly be at work right now on ships to mine the asteroids. And we turned our backs on all this: the loss-of-nerve generation.

  • these times are a' changing

  • a man which had so much hope and offer to the world is lost, what could have been if he lived.

  • @pravitchoonit068 If only he hadn't exploited the teamsters run by the Mob and then appoint his bro who was a fucking turncoat. Backstabbers can't escape their past, even at the highest level. JFK was an inspiring figure and a great speaker, but they way the Kennedy family made it was downright corrupt. If it were anything but alcohol that got them rich, they wouldn't have stood a chance. Luckily in America, alcohol is the only acceptable drug.

  • How things have changed.

  • good vid
