i can't remember if I commented on this. Probably have. Blasted alzheimers hahaha. Anyways, You definitely have to record that first song man. That is just....beautiful.
@Gordocagada , Hey thanks for you comment.OMG this song was only for the yamaha competition. I have no simple recording of that shit, only this video. But I definitely have to record it. That's true. Thanks again, stay tuned Tarnfisch
PS: I got on itunes more stuff, just type in "martin adrian" and "newnotes"
I am from Cologne in Germany. I play a Dukoff d9 Power chamber in this video. At the moment I play a jodyjazz 7 DV, but I think I should try a theowanne mouthpiece. I guess his mouthpieces are amazing. Keep swinging, Tarnfisch
Thx for your comment. There are many saxophones on the market, which are great. The sounds comes at 40% from your mouthpiece at 30% from your embourchure, at 20% from the neck and at 10% from the corpus. This is my experience over the years. Yamaha, Selmer are my favorite brands. On video I play a Dukoff D9 power chamber But I will get a theo wanne mouthpiece when I can afford it. I think at the moment he is state of the art. Guardala is history . stay tuned, Tarnfisch
I dig your tenor playing. Not so much the tracks. The music is great, but the sound of the instrument arent the best (at least in the first track). I can tell you like michael brecker. You sound great.Keep up the good work
selmer all the way expet for the new 80 series their good but it dosen't fit my characteristics but the mark vi and sba and the ba are my favorite saxs
Absolutely spot on, mate....been watching you tube for years but this is the first time I've posted a comment.....Awe inspiring stuff....ALL THE BEST...GO TO THE TOP!!!
growing love....great tune....great player.....certainly pro level.....this should be in the top 10 ten of smooth jazz charts....great sound and expression.....you need a little more of of a band to back you
Hey SeefuSefirosu, hey kylegeee, thank you a lot for your comments! It is a Selmer Super Action 1 from 1982. Now I switched to Yamaha and posted a new Video:
"Martin Adrian mit Hansmartin Kleine-Horst-LIVE"
The Yamaha means effortless phrasing and effortless highnotes. If you not overblow it (unfortunately this happens sometimes on my new video) the sound is clear and still got enough warm. All the best, tarnfisch
Great Sound...just wondering why you don't just get a cushioned neck strap rather than putting a towel between your neck and the strap? Wouldn't that be a little better? lol
Hi me007963, the effect is a chorus-like effect on my yamaha reverb device. The effect is called ..... oh I can't remember the name. The first two tunes are originals written by me. Cheers
HI mee007963, thanks for your comment. First two titels are written by me, the last song is a standart (beautiful love) Using Chorus and reverb. Cheers Tarnfisch
wow°!!! great sound and great technique!! thats everything i can say! (; excellent job!! how long do you play saxophone? is this part of your job, or is it "just" your hobby=? keep it up man!
Fantstic all the way around!!! It is posted that you are playing a Yamaha. But the neck and finish looks like a selmer. Could you let me know what saxophone mouthpiece and reed you are using to get your awesome sound.
It was a yamaha-competition but everyone could play any brand of sax he wants. I play on this recording a Selmer Super Action 1. I play a old (soft-metal, plumbiferous?, some folks say that it is toxic) dukoff D9.
Now I play a completely different setup and hope to post some new stuff soon.
Thanks for the reply. I've been playing the sax for 37 years and have had a Selmer Mark VI, Yamaha YTS 62 and Yamaha YTS 875 EXS. Recently, I have been playing a Guardala mouthpiece.
I have listened to a lot of players over the years and you should be awfully proud of your abilities. In the last 2 days I have listened to your Yamaha Saxcontest 2003 at least 10 times. Keep up the good work and I look forward to hearing you play again
Awesome sound effects, it almost sounds a little bit like a sax.

It is a very simple playback with a poor sound (not the sax, only the playback )
To produce a good recording I could make a new playback or play the song with my band, that's true. , all the best from tarnfisch
