I kind of figured the elk would back down. A bison is a really strong animal, more powerful then any elk. Elk will lock their antlers and use their hooves to fight. Bison's just ram stuff to death with their speed, power and thick skulls.

That "reindeer" is an elk. It's larger, it's antlers are missing that middle flat antler, it has that charactaristic white rump, it's face is too narrow, and and it's legs aren't as furry. A reindeer would only be as tall as the buffalo, if not shorter. Hope this helps!
