OHH TOLL!!! EIN HUBSCHRAUBER!!! den sieht man ja echt selten! Boa danke dass du diesen seltenen moment aufgenommen hast und mit dem schei* die Server von youtube belastest!
Blohm & Voss Shipyard?? Now you're talking business.. :) :) I think I may do the Bv 138 as my holiday project this summer (early July) or it will NEVER get finished.. :) Perhas I can use part of this footage in my video?? With permission, of'course.. :)
Yes, that are the B&V shipyards, directly in front of the terminals, just on the other side of the Elbe. The facilities of B&V aircraft were some 2-3 km down the Elbe, now Airbus. Of course you may use it, but much better idea is that I'll take some extra shots for U!
I was too polite to ask.. :) But that is the sort of thing that will definetely inspire me to get the plane built... :) So yes please... :) Anything B&V is welcome.. :)
A Lancaster would have kept an historical aspect to it.. :) I really like the Sea King, from time to time we get the RAF Rescue Sea King landing at the hospital, but only once have I been anywhere close to it, but at the time I didn't have the camera with me.. Great fly-pasts, but what happened to the Zwiss Patrole?
The Swiss patrol DID make their flights, but only 3 instead of the announced 7 shows in 3 days. I didn't know that and waited for 2 hours. The reason is that some people had complained and thought it to be too dangerous, loud and scaring. Their first show was down to altitudes of approx. 170m and was quite near to the visitors.. the later had to be less spectacular.. really tooo bad I missed it...;-(
Health and Safety, eh?? :( I missed the Clacton Air Show last year, as I was ill.. but I'll do my best to go on both days this August!! But I know how 'slightly dissapointing it can be, to miss a particular display... I have two museum visits planned this Sunday and next, but that'll all be static planes, of'course.. I'll be snapping some pics and shooting some vids, anyway.. :)
it's the "Voyager of the Seas" and in the shipyard of "Blohm und Voss" for modifications. I guess the Mississipi is, after all, too shallow for ships of that size^^.
I rode a PAA DC-7c from Rome to Istanbul...great airplane but for short routes, give me the Airspeed Ambassador AS-57 that BEA flew...better by far than DC-3, Convair, Martin and maybe even SAAB Scania ! btw, what cruise ship was that? we don't see such things on the Mississippi River :)
Luckily no B-17 or Lancaster joined the celebration.

This is no Sikorsky Sea King - it´s a Westland Sea King Mk.41.
