Hey Trebis, I played a game yesterday as a Zerg vs a Terran. I got marine/scv all-in'd. I am Silver league, but I tried to send an overlord in his base around 6.30, but a few marines shot it down instantly and I saw nothing else. I had a ling in his natural, which spotted the push coming and i tried to make as many lings/roaches as I could but he roflstomped me. Also, I had overlords spread out across the map and he got a 3 free snipes on the way to my base, which made me make more overlords

and over time, you learn how to use the units, when to build them etc etc until you get to masters

I really like this series of videos, great idea, and I agree with the general concepts you're conveying. However, currently in ZvP silver league, the situation is that most P players go for a fast expand, and that's something that's much harder to deal with than the situation you show in this replay. I don't think this replay is a good representative of how things are in silver league ZvP, it's really a one in a million.

I think it's pretty important that while recommending an economic opening you give some advice on how to scout cheese, as cheese is a huge game winner in the lower leagues. Pretty solid video otherwise, gj

I found you on TL but I can't seem to find any info lol. Are you considering playing SC2 professionaly/producing SC2 content professionally?

I personally find that the current casting scene is in demand of people with game knowledge with a 'good' voice and an innate ability to talk well, and I feel like if you were to get into contact with NASL/MLG you could have a shot at doing this for a full living!

Just to emphasize Trebis' point about having those lings at the ramp: He moved his units out at 6:28. A zergling takes 24 seconds to build, a spine crawler takes 50. By 7:18 you could have had a spine and two rounds of lings built, enough to utterly crush that push. Food for thought!

Day9/Pro replays help you learn game-reading (particularly Day9's theory of "If my opponent does X, I know he can't be doing Y), however they assume a reasonable understanding/mastery of game mechanics. Some (most) of us aren't there yet and don't need to know if 14 pool or 15 pool is better on Shakuras, but rather more basic stuff like in these videos.

Keep providing content like this and we'll do our part by liking and favoriting them all, and hopefully we can get more exposure and grow SC2!

Been a fan for a long time, and I am LOVING this new segment you have. Perhaps you can alternate races weekly going from bronze to gold on each.

No one is doing what you are, the way you are. Not even Day9 is doing it like you are with this new segment. Day9 is teaching through pro replays, your teaching through normal player replays. Its a great niche, and i love it.

You couldn't see the zerg's hotkeys because you have to put the replay perspective on the player whose hotkeys you want to see.
