French lesson: Le verbe "s'appeler"

Il serait mieux si les professeurs expliquaient l'utilisation de la 's' avant d'apprendre le verbe, je crois; ça éviterait des doutes.

Je parle espagnol et on a des verbes réfléchis aussi.

So if I wanted to say My name is Orion I would say "Je m'appelle Orion"?

What about nous and vous? I am a girl, so "Tu" t'appelles means "My name is..." right? And "Elle" s'appelle means "Her name is..." right? So if I where talking about a male friend, I would use "Il"?
