  • @KeepStrumming I found at petco just this week, a crown tail male with a blackish blue body with pale yellow fins. I had to buy him when i saw him. but as far as all black aquabid is gold :)

  • @KeepStrumming aquabid :)

  • very nice,,i never see one like this 5*****

  • where the hell is the gravel and plants? Bettas are alot happier in a well planted environment. This is just being a ass.

  • @Kevster012 shut up dude mind ur own pets if they dont know how to take care of a betta fish then just let the owner of that fish get heartbroken when it dies! ok

  • where did u get those fish?

  • thanks

  • where did you get those?

  • hi there

do you know where i can get them , i just try to buy them

  • How do you get betta"s to reproduce, i heard that they kant be with other fish or they fight each other.

  • Betta - $20

    Betta Tank -$12

    Shipping -$8

$40 spent on a dead betta and a tank in a box priceless..

  • wait....if betta hate other fishes...then how can they breed??

  • me and my little bro got betta fish but we don,t know how to take care of them do they need a lot of space and why sory about speling

  • @matthew123red5 they actually dont need a lot of space to live, but that doesnt mean they will be happy in a small container. I would say they will be perfect in a two gallon container. and they like aquite water condition tho.

  • i like those betta

  • do you ship to venezuela?

  • Let this beautifully creature where naturally belongs.

  • @FreeIndividua um. selectively bred bettas are typically kept where they belong. I don't think they'd be able to out compete the wild bettas. They're typically harder to breed. Don't be givin this guy crap about breeding some of the most beautiful creatures. I'd bet that he's taking very good care of them.

  • @acco8675309

Yeah, by selling them... Bread living creatures to sell is for me honestly the dumbest thing ever. Sell and buy? This is slavery for animals(any on human prisons like zoo's and store captivity). God help us all.

  • @FreeIndividua which part of my comment are you saying ya to, that they are kept where they belong? Or that they can't out compete wild bettas? By the way you spelled breed wrong (last time I checked bread is a food), and put it in the wrong tense.

You bring up a very interesting argument though, what is slavery? by googleing the deffinition the first one I found that comes closest to fitting this senario says: and I quote: "Submission to a dominating influence," which if you take (continued)

  • @FreeIndividua (Part 2) literally, most of us are in slavery to something, whether it be the government, parents, peers, older people around us, authority, God, the list goes on. You might say bettas are already in bondage to themselves due to the fact that they are constantly fighting. Their will to fight is their dominating influence.

Now you might say that it's all fine and dandy if you are a slave to yourself, that it causes no harm, but you aught not put other organisms around you (cont)

  • @FreeIndividua (part 3) into slavery, for your own enjoyment or anything.

But, if you think about it, by just existing you've already put at least 1 person into slavery. Since you can type I am fairly certain you have been born (at least I hope you have, it'd be a little creepy if you weren't). Just by being born you put 1 person into slavery for at least 9 months. I don't know what happened after that. If your mom kept you she probably was in slavery for a good while after you were (cont.)

  • @FreeIndividua (part 4) born. Depending on if your dad stayed around your child hood, you might have had a 2nd person in slavery. Teachers seem to be one of the most passionate examples of voluntary slaves out there.

I could go on, and I have some points about being a happy slave, but I'm hungry and I want to eat, so I'm not going to. In short, I don't feel even an ounce guilty about slave fish. Particularly if they are happy slave fish.

And I 2nd your motion. God bless america/world

  • @FreeIndividua P.S. HA! I Just thought of something. Me hungry = Action = Slavery to stomach

It made me ROFL. The world is under slavery to stomachs.

  • I made a vid on my betta too =)

  • how can i buy it

  • blackandwhitepro34 there is diffrent species of betta, that you also can buy at petco

  • how is a betta 20 dollar when i got mine for 3 at petco and i got the cage that comes with cleaning supplies and food and gravel for 13 dollars =16 so when my beta fish jaws dies ill just get another beta for 3 dollars man....I got mine cheap

  • Beautiful!

  • Do us still have any Melano's for sale??

  • yeah hopefully theres some in my area.

Some peiople do get attached to there betas its sweet ;)

  • can bettas survive in a 2.5 or 5 gallon tank w/o filters?

    help..im a beginner..

  • Survive and thrive are 2 different things. Unless you live at a year round temp of 80 F in your house then you will need a heater. That requires a tank that is 5 gallons or larger. A tank with gentle filtration is best because then the fish isn't stuck in ammonia caused by his waste.

  • okay thank you very much...at the moment i dont have a filter yet..but i will get one as soon as i can..i have one in a 5 gallon..and another in a 2.5..thanks again..

  • I have the Aqueon water heater for my 2.5 and it works perfect with the size. My betta blows bubbles every day and i am about to get a female

  • they can survive in a cup. lol

  • yes they can survive in a vase and in a little countaner from the store then they can survive in a 5 or 2.5 gallon dont worry

  • Betta fish here are around 2 to 4 dollars.. I bet crown fish and half-moon cost alot more. There's so many different types of betta.

  • Where i live you can get a betta for .10, my friend bought acouple and put them in the same tank but they never fight

  • yeah it's just you don't get all the different colour varieties like melano, white and dragon types do you and i can't really import

  • I got mine when it was a few months old for $9.00 It was a half moon betta too.

It's colour is a range between blues and violets.

  • you are all so lucky i live in the UK :(

  • haha lol buy some import

  • i can't most of em are american site's lol :(

  • i got a betta fish his name is chili

  • Do U chip outside USA?

  • i am so god damn admire your black betta hope u can sell it to me

  • can you find this betta fish at a store?

  • are u from singapore

  • very beautiful betta, would love to get a black one, very hard to find

  • tell me is it barbaric if i got 10 of them and put them all in 1 tank just to watch them fight?

  • Yeah ): that's unfair.

  • i need help over here can u tell me how do u keep ur betta tail condition so good coz my betta half moon tail end always rotten and look ugly i am facing this problem dun know how to solve it so can u help me out

  • Fin rot or he blew his tail. Blowing of the tail is when the fish open their fins (when flaring) so much they just rip.

  • i recommend you not to raise one please you are killing fishes!! haha lol just joking im pretty sure you dont keep water condition right do change water weekly also you need to keep the temperature since betta is a tropical fish keep the temperature between 78~80 also dont forget to add water conditioner you must not feed too much as well they will end up being killed if you over feed just feed them once or twice a day maxium 4 pallets a day
  • keep your temperature right and feed your bette high in protein foods. like brim shrimp, live foods etc. im sure your fish will become handsome again :)

  • dude this bettas out of the world man if i was in us or if u posted to uk id have them all of you trust me mate these woudnt last a day with me i tell u all those people saying they gt em for $4 each mate why not start supplieng me then youll make a lot of money or on the other hand you do not have aclue about bettas ,

    anyways dude great stuff

let me know if u have any intentions of posting to uk

  • What?????????????????

  • cann u post to united kingdom

  • so where can i order?

  • I like all the idiots commenting who think 20 bucks is too much for such a nice fish. I'd love to see anywhere in the US that's not a private breeder that sells such nice specimen as the one in this video!

  • thats cool

  • what other kinds do you have?

  • im looking for a white betta any kind- preferably male

  • I got one but it's one of my favs so I can't sell him

  • yo apbadmin, i wanna buy one

  • Man! i want to breed them! so wonderful fish!

  • me too

  • congrats i had a cronw tail like that urs is a lil darker

  • Hi,

I am interested on betta fighting fish.

Are u selling this Black Meloano?

  • black bettas are rare because the black betta gene is a "deadly gene" ad 1 out of 100 black betta offspring survive

  • my betta veiltail is high quality! i got him for £3-$5.5

  • Beautiful fish - in both color and form. =)

  • did you know that the black betta fish has the same gene as cancer...it's most likely going to die quicker then the average betta...also they say it's best not to keep them...because there is a chance you could contract it also. this is a true statement/fact

  • i dont think soooo

  • You are misinformed, yes the melano(black betta) gene is semi-fatal, BUT only in female bettas, however, the females that survive are known to be sterile, no other fish cannot contract anything from them.

  • yes

  • how the hell would you catch it! they wouldnt sell fish that give you cancer otherwise they would end up in court and get sued for millions!!!!!!!!!

  • The ones in the petstores are veil tials this is a halfmoon betta but meleanos are infertile so i don t wana buy him but he has great form

  • Actually, melano males are fertile. Melano females are the ones that are infertile.

  • Yes the females are infertile thanks for clearing that up btw are you in the us?

  • Yes, I am from the United States.

  • Oh okay i am in canada

Contact information in the "More Info" section.

Don't miss out on rare bettas & beautiful bettas! Very few left!

  • in the pet store the are 4.00$

  • Yes, pet store sells different bettas for $4. The one in the video is completely high-quality and has beautiful fins.

  • You'll never find high-quality bettas like this for $4. Maybe not until I find an efficient way of breeding bettas, then will it only be cheaper.

  • i found high quality bettas for $7 at a few local fish stores, halfmoons and everything.

  • where?

  • wtf

  • Is it fighting its reflection???

  • at first i was like whats worng with its fines but then it started to flear i was like holly shit AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i got my betta free

  • beautiful betta!

  • This fish is very rare because his color black and his tail over halfmoon, 4 dolar is common fish, I think 40 dolars is cheap to it.

  • fucking beautiful.

  • By the way that's one of the most beautiful long tails I've seen.

  • 3 dollars my ass. You can get the regular long tail betta at walmart or petsmart but not the one shown on the video clip. Pure black bettas are rare and pure black halfmoons are even more rare. I say blackie in the clip costs at least $30+

  • were u get thoes kind? i got a clown tail and i look about 10 times for any other type that wasnt a female

  • How much did u buy that fish?

  • I never seen any good looking beta like that in those kind of store...

  • you can get them at walmart or petsmart on petco for like 3 dollars they are not that expensive. i have one

  • what?! 3 dollars for real?! thats so cheap and impossible

In my country(thailand) is like 30$ each even here is the betta's distribution. black melano color bettas are hard to breed because females are sterilized(eggs cells can not be fertilizes). melano only happens in cells mutation during fertilizing. In thailand we get black melano male and dark blue color female to get melano frys but not all of the fry will have melano color sometimes dont have it. is like random

  • I got my fish for $4

  • where do u get those?

and how much do they cost?

  • pet store and they cost about $4
