i think you should firstlearn the basics from flourishs 101 if other people can learn sybil from the 101 series then there is no excuse for you too learn it after you have learnt sybil the go for akira
its all about puting down the time to practice, learning the move and adjusting it slightly untill its most comfortable for you.
its not fun but its what you have to do to learn. and as you get better its great feeling, especially knowing how hard you worked.
i remember hating practicing eko cause i always dropped it and i totally thought i would absolutely never be able to learn it, but now i can do it really fast and consistantly and its one of my fav flourishes
you should have probably mastered the basics , and then get the trilogy , cuz the trilogy has been most helpful to intermediates , but my advise would be practice, scince you have the cd's practice is the only way youll learn them
here's a tip i learned by doing it. to keep the tornado packet spinning without it getting jammed on the deck in your hand, use the left half of the pinky as the second pivot point. it worked really well for me
I dont have the tirlogy i'm gonna get it soon. But i know a great place to learn sybil. Go on CardShark88's channel and look for the two handed cut tutorials, which is a 6-video sybil tutorial. i learned from those videos and i can do the sybil perfectly (just not as fast).
I jsut got the trilogy. Try to spend a couple of hours messing around with the cut. I havent got round to learning this yet. I am jusdt working my way through the flourishes. You should try something easy like molecule 4 false.
right, your issue is with the index and pinky clip, to get the right hold, your ring finger on your right hand should exted as farthest to the right side of the deck as possible. (if that makes sense.) when you clip the packet with your palm and your pinky in your right hand, your ring finger in your right hand *whilst holding the packet with your pinky) Shoulbe placed as farthest as possible to gain as much leverage in order to turn the bloody packet over. =D
practice, and keep watching the tutorials until you get it. thats what i did and look where i am now..? nowhere! jk haha just keep on doing what youve been doing. messing up is all part of learning.
lol pandora j5 ftw haha joke :P you just need to practice tornado cut, in order to master the spin you struggle with... also your hand ain't exactly as big as dans or daves so adjust that packet to be higher thats about it ;)
well first of all about akira i think you should place the corner of the rotated packet alittl bit higher and just try to get the right position for all of the 3 packets by copeing exactly what dan and dave are doing
i hate it how the little sucky kids get the good shit then try and show the tricks and flourishes

mecka is the easiest cut on the trilogy and if you can even do syble, why would you get the trilogy? it's for more advance people than you.

With the spin just keep a break a bit higher up
on the base of your thumb so the packet is clear of the rest of the pack
hope this helps

here's the sequence:
Break small packet, Execute a sybil like movement, clip between Index and pinky, Let go of the pinky to get the 'kick' thing going on.
