if you can test the weight see how much it can lift off the ground and mod it to lift more and more by add d-fans to each side then add a mini cam then you got yourself a mini sky cam. ;)
i think there something wrong with your piccoz... the sound reek... open up the body and check the inside see if anything is corrupt to the rotor wheels... maybe they are slip.. check it... if it sound go smooth then it should be good

If you add weight to the front for forward flight...does that mean you can no longer hover?. I don't own an RC Heli, but I would like to and I wanted a small one that has full funtionality and movement. Be able to move in all directions and hover controllably...without adding weight. Is there really no way this one can be used to fly around (while in full contol of it ofcourse), and be able to hover also?.

To stop it from turning you have to keep pressing the button in the opposite direction( it turns clockwise press L it turns counterclockwise press R)

that happens to me soemtimes and it turns out to be cat hair or dog hair stuck in the tailrotor so have a look

if you put a pin on the front of the helicopter you can get the helicopter to lean fowards when you fly it. it looks really good
