No, don't run it through the pianola, figure out it's rpm's and build one. Regardless of whether or not ou do that though, still AWESOME JOB

Looks like the project is coming through well.

As a suggestion, if it's possible, try feeding it into the pianola roller to get a steady tempo. Then again, I don't know if you have a working one.
