Portuguese players individually are cleary the more skillyfull of all the teams in the world. But they don't work together well as national team. There dancing and football skills will get them far enough to maybe a QF at the WC and even a SF or Final at Euro but GREAT National teams win WC and Euro Cups and instead of tricking and putting a show for the crowd the Portuguese need to play as a team. Just my two cents.

Hands down the two best teams in this tournament are Portugal and Germany. Holland played very, very well, but I wouldn't jump on their orange bandwagon yet. They only played one game against an undercoached Italy, so relax. In my opinion, Romania were tough and I hope that those pussy French are eliminated as soon as possible. If they stay in the tournament we will be forced to endure countless dives and complaining. I hate France and their stupid divers.

I think the Fifa rules state that once you represent a country in a fifa sanctioned (international) tournament, you cannot change allegiances,so Pepe, Deco, Nani and co cannot play for their countries of birth, same as podolski and klose for poland. I think its pretty strict. They are all Portuguese nationals anyway, so there is no problem there.
