Melancholy and soulful ... yes, John Denver's of this song version pulls at your heart strings. Your version, while technically very good, does not really accomplish that.. Its not that JD was a really great technical musician, he just knew what that song was trying to say. You guys make a great team; keep at it until this song pulls at YOUR heartstrings.
