Darth Nihilus for me is the only really scary guy in the star wars universe. With his abilitty to drain life and power out of everything, and the fact that, unlike say, the emperor, only believes in death and nothing else. The emperor, as long as you stay in his servitude ur reasonably safe, but with this guy, he could devour the entire universe for all he cares because he considers death and emptiness the only purpose of life. Well Anakin in revenge of the sith, when he first become vader or maybe when he was on fire planet (not sure what its called lol) was at his most powerful. Yet he was still on same level as obi and was actually beaten by Obi because of intelligence, Vader never used the power of intelligence, he only cared for power.
Nihilius on the other hand is a very powerful and intelligent sith lord, same with darth traya. These sith lords are without a doubt the more powerful ones.

Bioware needs to stop rushing their games and just focus on overall quality. both Koltor 2 and dragonage 2 were disappointments compared to the originals. lets just hope it doesnt happen with mass effect 3
@MildTabascofries KOTOR 2 wasn't made by Bioware, but Obsidian. Plus it was Lucas Arts who gave them a ridiculously short deadline, forcing them to rush it, it wasn't Obsidian's fault. Apparently they wanted to release a patch for this game that restored everything they wanted to put in it but Lucas Arts refused.
IMO, Dragon Age 2 wasn't a bad game, just completely different to the first in every way. Had it been disassociated with the original, I think it would have worked better.

As for Sion attacking him, sith don't really work well together, but in the scene he was willing to walk away, seeing as this wasn't put into the game it mightn't be finished which is why we don't have a clue what nihilius is saying, unfortunate seeing as it seems fairly important. nobody rules in the end, sion isn't strong enough to win, but also can't die, so stalemate. at least that's my guess
Honestly they didnt do much with nihilus. such a badass that he gave sion a long deserved ass kicking with a flick of his wrist but he is such an easy boss and you only get to see him in like 3 scenes before you kill him. it seemed like the plot was still building and then hit kind of an abrupt end.
The sith/Jedi of the modern Star Wars era dont even compare to the Force users of old...its like they (the people from the Kotors) are in a whole nother league. Nihilus could blow up the death star with a flick of the finger, I bet. And sion could probably take a hit directly from the Death Star and still be fine.
@ACTIVEDEVICE if you take kotors story as star wars law then yes, but there are many who prefer other views. personally given that george lucas said that vader and sidious were the strongest sith i think they are the best, but i love kotor. nihilus and revan and vader are my favv sith lords(not in order)

@Sup750 First one had a better story, 2nd was a better game, in my opinion. Both are great games overall and if you ever played D&D you can really appreciate the character building.
Nihilus, despite his badass looks, was very disappointing in-game. This was not Nihilus' fault, but the fault of the stupid rushed development. TSLRCM helped, a bit, but the final fight with him was disappointing. Were it not for that, Nihilus could have become one of the cooler Sith. Darth Sion, however, was awesome from the start. He did not suffer from the shortcomings of TSL in general. A motherfucking Sith zombie that can't fucking die? Sign me up.

I think the emphasis was on Lightsabers since Kreia was highlighting Tulak Hord as one of best duelists among the Sith, and now Revan has Tulak's Holocron which is awesome. XD
@JediKingRevan Holocrons may have teaching but are no supplement for power. Freedon Nadd had King Adas's holocron, but it still made him no where near as powerful as the Sith'ari first king of the sith. The same goes for the Sith King Dathka Graush, as his raw power in the force, as well as his mastery of Sith Sorcery and Sith Alchemy were never achieved again. But then again, those were the ancient sith kings, I dont expect to see any of the new or old republic dark jedi matching them haha
Thats true but even though Revan 'might' not unlock all the Holocron's secrets but he can still benefit from it's teachings. I'm not sure but wasn't King Adas mentioned in Solomon's Revenge?

@jokesonyou91 Darth Andeddu found a way to transfer his being into another body so he could live forever that way. Darth Caedus can do like, everything. Many other Jedi / Sith can flow-walk, which is time-traveling in which you can see the future or slightly affect the past.

Bioware needs to stop rushing their games and just focus on overall quality. both Koltor 2 and dragonage 2 were disappointments compared to the originals. lets just hope it doesnt happen with mass effect 3

@MildTabascofries KOTOR 2 wasn't made by Bioware, but Obsidian. Plus it was Lucas Arts who gave them a ridiculously short deadline, forcing them to rush it, it wasn't Obsidian's fault. Apparently they wanted to release a patch for this game that restored everything they wanted to put in it but Lucas Arts refused.
IMO, Dragon Age 2 wasn't a bad game, just completely different to the first in every way. Had it been disassociated with the original, I think it would have worked better.

@Manrikitabako1 yes they used work together to take down the jedi. As for Sion attacking him, sith don't really work well together, but in the scene he was willing to walk away, seeing as this wasn't put into the game it mightn't be finished which is why we don't have a clue what nihilius is saying, unfortunate seeing as it seems fairly important. nobody rules in the end, sion isn't strong enough to win, but also can't die, so stalemate. at least that's my guess

Honestly they didnt do much with nihilus. such a badass that he gave sion a long deserved ass kicking with a flick of his wrist but he is such an easy boss and you only get to see him in like 3 scenes before you kill him. it seemed like the plot was still building and then hit kind of an abrupt end.

The sith/Jedi of the modern Star Wars era dont even compare to the Force users of old...its like they (the people from the Kotors) are in a whole nother league. Nihilus could blow up the death star with a flick of the finger, I bet. And sion could probably take a hit directly from the Death Star and still be fine.

@ACTIVEDEVICE if you take kotors story as star wars law then yes, but there are many who prefer other views. personally given that george lucas said that vader and sidious were the strongest sith i think they are the best, but i love kotor. nihilus and revan and vader are my favv sith lords(not in order)

Nihilus, despite his badass looks, was very disappointing in-game. This was not Nihilus' fault, but the fault of the stupid rushed development. TSLRCM helped, a bit, but the final fight with him was disappointing. Were it not for that, Nihilus could have become one of the cooler Sith. Darth Sion, however, was awesome from the start. He did not suffer from the shortcomings of TSL in general. A motherfucking Sith zombie that can't fucking die? Sign me up.

i think if Kotor 3 is every put back in development (yes they cancelled it cos of disagreements with bioware and lucas arts) then it shud all be about the exile and revan fighting the true sith empire in teh unknown space regions
or the empire attacking the republic but that was kinda used in SWTOR but thats 300 years later so i guess the first idea cud be used

@jokesonyou91 I've always felt the "super-epic-amazing" powers are a shallow attempt at making something seem more interesting, though it's really the more subtle things that really grab one's attention. That said, I still think KotOR 2's epic force stuff was at least fairly well done, considering.

I think the emphasis was on Lightsabers since Kreia was highlighting Tulak Hord as one of best duelists among the Sith, and now Revan has Tulak's Holocron which is awesome. XD

@JediKingRevan Holocrons may have teaching but are no supplement for power. Freedon Nadd had King Adas's holocron, but it still made him no where near as powerful as the Sith'ari first king of the sith. The same goes for the Sith King Dathka Graush, as his raw power in the force, as well as his mastery of Sith Sorcery and Sith Alchemy were never achieved again. But then again, those were the ancient sith kings, I dont expect to see any of the new or old republic dark jedi matching them haha

@jokesonyou91 Darth Andeddu found a way to transfer his being into another body so he could live forever that way. Darth Caedus can do like, everything. Many other Jedi / Sith can flow-walk, which is time-traveling in which you can see the future or slightly affect the past.

@jokesonyou91 Being 'strong' in the force is very different from having years of immersion in the Dark Side energies, or having an entire planet die around you. It also had to do with graphical limitations and the overall hokiness of the original trilogy.
