I don't know why you all are hating so much on the Germans of WWII. It's okay to hate the SS and all the other Nazi bull crap, but not the true German soldiers who fought solely for family and country.
The Germans put up a great fight, rising from economic ruin and taking on the largest, strongest nations in the world by themselves. If they had fought for a righteous cause instead of the twisted ideals of one madman, they'd probably be the most famous and strongest military in modern history.

Germans have to understand that in the 40's all Germans were Nazi's according to the US government. It's wrong I know. It was propaganda from the US government to US people at the time. My grandfather fought on a B-24 in WW2, but has went to meet greet and befriend his Luftwaffe adversaries again and again in Germany since. The SS was an enemy of the world, but the Luftwaffe, and Wehrmacht were soldiers fighting for family and home as we were.

I agree with you completely. My Uncle is in the german army, and he is far away from being a Nazi. He has done a lot for the peace on this world, and its simply not fair to call somebody a nazi simply because he is german and in the army. I know that because my uncle is telling quite a few storys from all over the world, and its just pissing him off being called a nazi!

Had awesome machines, very advanced ideas and tech and of course, we all know Germans have fighting in their genes. Pity for them about the guys right at the top. People should read Adolf Galland books and it tells a really interesting story...assuming they're actually interested in flying.

Nice firepower. However, the grouping of that gun is terrible. Once you squeeze the trigger your flying goes to shit. That is why it is so extremely inaccurate. The first 10 rounds will probably hit close to where you want them to but after that... about 95% of the ammo amount to wasted tax money... Then it depends what you're firing at...

Nice firepower. However, the grouping of that gun is terrible. Once you squeeze the trigger your flying goes to shit. That is why it is so extremely inaccurate. The first 10 rounds will probably hit close to where you want them to but after that... about 95% of the ammo amount to wasted tax money... Then it depends what you're firing at...

An A-10 can't wipe out an entire division you dumb nuts... it has only 2000 round of GAU - 8 and can carry only 3000 pounds of bombs or missiles.

@yawakanohhh a popular loadout is 1500 rounds of Party Mix HEI and APIT for the 30mm GAU-8, 2 Anti tank Mav missles. 2 sidewinders to handle enemy air, Several High explosive Rockets, and 4 GBU-12's ( subject to change depending on the mission ). id say that is enough to Take on a few platoon, but not 20,000 troops a devision would have.

Had it been solely Germany vs. the USSR, they'd be all speaking German today up in Moscow... A very gross miscalculation on behalf of the German command.
