I agree with silentfades. There is nothing on any of these tapes that made me perk my ears up and think `he`s lying``. In fact I think he gave an amazing insight into how Cynthia`s mother radar knew that her daughter was capable of even the worst things. The entire family knows that too. It``s the only reason that they treated her with kid gloves - they knew that if they had any chance of getting Casey to say even 1 thing, that they would have to treat her as a hostage treats their captor.

it is really easy to judge and criticize this family structure - but clearly Casey is diagnostically a narcissistic sociopath - these are very cunning individuals who are very very taxing and disruptive to the family structure and system. i knew nothing abt this case until a few days ago. i think she will be convicted.

1 why is nobody pressing about what the argument was about that made her take off from the house?

2 the fact that lee comes across as being so helpful is very suspicious.

3 why why why wait that long to report your kid missing. no "threats of harm" could ever prevent me from reporting harm to my child immediately

4 how much, if any, drugs was casey taking? either the kid suffocated / drowned somehow accidentally,

It is so arrogant to pass judgment on how someone should or should not behave in any situation. EVERYone is different. Lee sounds like he's trying very hard to help - he seems extremely sincere. I think its ridiculous to make a definitive statement about what someone is thinking! Comments that begin: "he thinks" are silly. Also, for people to pronounce him guilty or accuse him of improprieties with his sister is nothing less than ignorant. Why all the hate & negative remarks?!

Some people laugh rather than cry. I'm a mortician/embalmer /crematory operator. I  laugh at some horrible things that I see on a daily basis to keep me sane. People handle traumatic stress differently. I think Lee is laughing because he can't believe he is in this situation and laughter comforts him. also, George's testimony about the "gas can retrieval" conflicts with what Lee states happened. George stated in an interview that he needed some kind of blocks or something to "rotate" Cindy's tires, then hastily... Casey grabs out the cans for him, "here's your f'n cans dad". But George does not go on to say anything further about getting what he actually needed, i.e. the blocks. So what's up with this?

After listening to the 6th of 9 taped interviews of Lee, I think a subpoena of Lee's emails are in order.. especially this one he refers to from "Heather" confirming a nanny referred by Jeff with a son Zach. Casey did state this previously, when I thought she was just spinning again. So.. any confirmation of this email??????????

I've been saying the same exact thing! He's laughing out of nervousness. Thanks for being another understanding soul! Nervous laughter is not unusual under these terms. I believe he's being truthful, and wants justice for Caylee.

He's giving the cops sound information, almost "ratting out" his own blood, his own sister. In most cases, people don't do that, but this is SERIOUS. Most people protect their loved ones, but not in an instance where a little girl was deeply loved by so many ...

jpursell29, you're absolutely right, that laugh is very irritating especially knowing the circumstances and he should have had a hunch that the smell could be of poor little Caylee, I wouldn't think it's funny, he's a big jerk, (Lee), wouldn't be surprised if he had a hand in that (disposing of body) or at least knows what happened. Sound like a nervous type of laugh, no matter what there's nothing funny in this whole situation!

I believe Casey buried Caylee in her back yard first.then dug her up and drove around with Caylee's Dead body in her trunk for days looking for a place to get rid of her body, and ditched the car because of the smell, the smell got on casey's clothes when she removing Caylee from trunk. put the pizza in the trunk to cover up smell when car was found of somthing rotting. and left purse in car to appear kidnapped. but got caught before she could disappear. and fake a kidnapping of them both.

the brother not once but twice starts laughing when talking about the smell from caseys car. and byu the time of this interview he surely was aware that his own mother and father suspected it might be the smell of dead caylee. i mean the brother seemed normal to me before but is this normal?
