  • what a beauty!

  • i'm not sure about singing this song with my boyfriend.. or my mom to explain why I'm late...

  • That's some damn smooth jazz that is.

  • Is it just me, or is it a bit creepy with Willie sounding so much older than her?

  • Ugh, he kills it! She should do this with michael buble

  • @thefateoftheworld GET OUT! NEVER STOP GETTING OUT!!!

  • Baby its cold out tonight..Great song for a mid january

  • This song just makes me swoon i love Norah Jones...pure perfection

  • Norah embracing the Willie way! Merry Chrimmah y'all

  • Perfect!

  • I seriously doubt Frank Losser's wife would have considered this a date rape song since she was reportedly furious when Frank sold the rights of the song to MGM...and since the meaning of the song lies with the original artist..a married man whose wife considered this "their song" this modern ignorant notion that this artistic classic has anything to do with date rape is brilliant example of modern interpretation ignoring an author's original intent. Not to mention a disservice to Norah.

  • My favorite holiday date rape song.

  • @belandres01 You've clearly never been courted. There is a huge difference between trying to sway someone and the violent act of rape.

  • @seashells616 I'm sure the the date rape reference is to the line "Say, what's in this drink?" I think it's a sweet song, but I kinda see why some people might disagree.

  • @altCountryGuy That's funny. It reminds me of the song "It's now or never"...so unromantic when you really think about it. "My love won't wait." What a jerk, right?

  • @altCountryGuy I see...ok. well that is sort of funny :)

  • Love it!!

  • Norah Jones rocks!!!

  • Oh good lord.

    I just died inside <3

  • @nlob4sakura HAhaha!!...what killed you inside?

  • @1atheist2 Her beautiful voice C:

  • Norah Jones and Michael Buble REALLY need to do this song together!♥

  • does she sound like Bonnie Raitt to anyone?

  • gosh your lips are delicious..... so friggin sweet!

  • Hahaha too bad your opinion doesnt matter to me.

  • She has such a sweet voice. But he is just talking.

  • @bloke1967

you misunderstand the power of this version. Willie Nelson's craggly Western articulation sharply contasts with Nora's silky jazz lyricism. This vocal contrast highlights the charming give and take of this most romantic of songs. It's a stunningly beautiful and unexpected fresh version of this classic. I'm sorry you are incapable of appreciating its raw beauty and its emotional passion.

  • This is nice but the guy kinda kills it... :(

  • Norah is just amazing!!! (as always) Wish they would have picked some other person for the man voice...This could have been my favorite version...for now I think Lady Antebellum's version wins :(

  • Norah is wonderful as always... but it sounds to me like they weren't in the studio together. More like they recorded at separate times. No real warmth from Willie...

  • @jonathanstangroom

I disagree I think that it sounds good

  • Great version,, 2nd only to the AnnMargret/Al Hirt of circa 1965. Love the understated jazz of this version, with the prominent big bass. Her and Willie have done several other duets, and they compliment each other greatly IMO..

  • I really wish she would do a concert with Michael Buble they would be the perfect match for many songs!

  • @TheKAZuber22

Michael Buble is boring and has a weak voice. He is highly overrated.

  • what a surprisingly great duo..nice version!

  • Great Job Willie! Aloha from Maine.

  • my god...her voice is so amazing...like smoke and sex...simply beautiful and mezmerising

  • nora and rod woulda been best

  • LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!!!! The two seem so very different but the song ins AMAZING!!!!!!!!

  • Norah sounds so great on this! I also love the new version by Haley and Casey: watch?v=DO8vD0ClzbE

  • Henry Conick, Jr is who i was thinkin of

  • Norah nails it...I just kinda get creeped out thinkin 'bout Willie singing this song to her... Sinceas mentioned previouly his voice doesn't produce the desired effects for this song. I liked the previous comment about this song done by Nora & Michael Buble...or that crooner from New Orleans (not Arron Nevels..the one who sounds like Sinatra) whose name just flew out my head...dang it, anyway, her voice suites this song perfectly...Willie, sorry dude, this just work for you at least not ith Nora

  • i like willie nelson but his voice doesn't produce the desired effect for this song

  • some people hit the ground famous some it takes 30 years to accrue the shit this babe has done

  • My favorite :)

  • I have been waiting a long time for norah to do a duet with michael buble and this song would have been perfect.....WTF get to it people your fan base has spoken!!!!

  • Norah win. Willie fail

  • bad song, bad singers, fuck

  • Willie Nelson is just speaking...

  • @dullthesun that's how Willie sings. I've always thought that he should just stick to writing. :) just my opinion, this will probably set some willie fans off. LOL

  • @dullthesun because its meant to be a conversation....

  • @dullthesun To the untrained ear, I suppose.

  • @dullthesun .Daaah..Top O da Class Dummy..We need More Rocket Ship Specialists like you down here at the Cape....

  • ♥♥♥

  • I just love that album cover. It shows how humble she is.

  • This is so Top Shelf they way they put this together awesome! Indiana:)

  • Love it...

  • something about old willie nelson and little norah jones singing the lyrics to this particular song sounds funny to me. however, they sound amazing together, so its easily forgiven ;)

  • I love this song, I heard it's about date rape and he drugs her drink lol. FYI

  • can anyone imagine if this song was sang between Michael Buble and Norah? pure love

  • @wolfteam000 Exactly what I was thinking!!

  • @wolfteam000 she's too wonderful for that

  • @wolfteam000 that would be dangerous...men & women would both melt..

  • @wolfteam000 my thoughts exactly!!!!

  • @wolfteam000 Agree, but I would like to hear Nora and the writer of song, Johnny Mercer. A great match for this song.

  • @wolfteam000 ~ I was JUST THINKING THAT!! :)

  • Check out the James Taylor/Natalie Cole version. Also very cool

  • @wolfteam000 I swear I just thought that.

  • @wolfteam000 I was just thinking about it :-D

  • @wolfteam000 that's would be what I call vocal SEX

  • @wolfteam000 Pretty sure I just broke the 'Thumbs Up' button...

  • <3 I'm so attracted to you, Norah. So. Attracted. :@

  • she is so perfect for this song

  • The Pearl Bailey/Hot Lips version is superior to any other, but Norah Jones does a nice job.

  • this is soooo much better than the stupid glee's version

  • i don't know why,but this song make me think about past . so the moment i listen to it is indispensable

  • how on earth do you come up with 'creepers' & 'rape' for this classic?

  • I know, this song is adorable and about romance, then you go make it about something disturbing.

  • First of all, great song. I like Ella Fitzgerald's version best, but Norah is awesome, no doubt....and to those people whose minds are in the gutter....seriously? Rape? It's so annoying to have people attempt to ruin beautiful music by projecting their own unhappy minds on it.

  • @CBJ607 It's a fact ;)

Actually, a LOT of songs are stalkerish if you really listen to the lyrics. Especially love songs

  • @csaenz415 Sure its one interpretation (I read that on cracked.com).... But Frank loesser (the songs author) wrote this song about his wife (while they were married, not before) and first sang it with her... so I doubt it was originally about rape

  • @pinneappl RAPE? WT....?

  • Comment removed

  • @2moffas ...read the comment Im responding to.... Im saying its NOT about rape....

  • @pinneappl OK sorry Pinneappl, I did see something about it being about date rape, gosh what a reach! I love covers they are such encomiums!

  • Lovely song, too bad it's about rape..

  • Creepers??!?!? That's nuts, if you're creeped out, you must be the creepy one. this is classic sensuality.

  • PURE MAGIC!

  • Hot..sensual and sexy. LIKE!!

  • Love her, love her music, and her voice.Never tired listening to her.

  • The words of the song are really pretty creepers... but it's just a solid enough piece of the "songbook" or whatever that you can forget about the lyrics and just enjoy it.

  • brutal

  • Great I love it......

  • Pimp shit.

  • They sound like they had so much fun doing this. Willie, ancient as he is, is at the top of his game... just delicious!

  • Love the song. It sounds like that are really next to each other drinking, and willie sure did make sure that drink was Strong toward the end she sounds extra happy lol

  • This song is so Sexy and Cool! WOW!

  • @foreverchickadee

What a crap comment, i mean when she want to sing alone, then i dont make it on a feature album.

The Song great, about the combination from both singers, It´s rember the old Bar Songs.

  • This song cracked me up the entire time I listened to it. Norah's singing beautifully and he's interrupting her saying it's cold outside. :)

  • My favorite of the album!

  • Excellent

  • great song
