hexacarbon (google it) has carbon fiber rods for bargain basement prices. This stuff may seem expensive, but if you're a pro videographer, doing many many gigs you want something that will hold up to wear and tear. And if you're getting between 800 and 1500 per gig, the price becomes more reasonable.

I built my first rig using the cheapest elements I could find (it was a mishmash of jag35 and express35) and it still cost me about 1300 bucks. (it included a follow focus, though :D )

@Cakeman545 the 7D has 18 megapixels and this video was for both the 5D and 7D. in video mode though your only shooting at about 3 megapixels in 1080P and less than 1 megapixel in 720P.
