@jasonandsamslovechil I think the biggest message this movie fails to address is obesity. Poverty? She's big enough to survive in a desert with vitamins and water. She obviously has been eating plenty.

@7headed10horned first off, in case you were unaware, by not eating enough food, that is one thing that contributes to weight gain, secondly, it is a lot easier and less costly to buy fast food or junk food, ie high calorie and highly processed foods because of the way our society has developed. Healthier food choices are more expensive and harder to obtain. It's not fair the system works this way, but sadly that is what our society has come too.

@jasonandsamslovechil Not spacing out your meals contributes to weight gain. Obviously not eating is not as effective as dieting, but there's no way she got that big from not eating.

Secondly, it's really easy with excersise to eat junk food and lose weight. And anyone that says otherwise hasn't tried. I think the real society issue is our acceptance and reliance on pitiful excuses.
