Funny how come the meaning of a song can change in your head. I always thought that this song was about Macca's feelings about the band splitting up and his relationship with John. @oralala1 I am sad that you had to learn about them via the computer. I was born in 1970 and my mom always played her LP's when she cleaned house and drove us crazy. It wasnt till she died that I appreciated them. Now my children listen to the LP's and love The Beatles. They were true artist and still influence folks today.

@CastfireTheAwesome I'm in my mid-50's and DID grow up with this music. I consider myself blessed and feel sorry for those born decades later. At least you can listen to it. I've always been convinced great music is TIMELESS. I love many different kinds of music going all the way back to Bach, Handel, Mozart, Beethoven and others. Some of what I listen to is 300 years old. But my all-time favorite and passion will always be the period from 1955 to 1972. Enjoy it !!
