That's no actually mt kosciuszko, you can't see it from there, it's 5km back behind mt townsend, which i thought was kosiuszko at first too, ive climbed it twice so yeah, if you could call it climbing, its more of a walk haha.
nice vid but its not pronounced like that i know your acent might make it harder to say but its acctually pronounced kkkkoooooooosssssiiiiiiioooooooosssskkkkkkooooooo, the u makes an o sound =]
very ignorant, it doesn't matter how u spppeeelllll ttthhheeee wwooooorrrrrdddddd, it won't change his pronunciation, and saying "the u makes a o sound" won't change anything because he will read it and say the 'o' the same way because he's american or canadian whatever
good work, but grem1944 is correct, from the lookout where this is filmed, you can't see Kosciuszko, but the highest point in this video is Mt Townsend, which is Australia's 2nd highest at 2210m, not much different to Kosciuszko. Mt Kosciuszko is only about 3km behind Mt Townsend on the main range though.
Nice big snowy mountain it is. The road is exiting when you drive down into Victoria and the scenery and the mountain and forests are so beautiful, you can even see a collection of kangaroos in one place on the south side of the mountain. They do fight each other.
i seen those mountains completely covered many seasons

grem, it is mount kosciusko, and if you are saying that mount townsend is the highest mountain then you need to get ure facts right.
climbtime999 3 years ago
matty8hiker is right but the peak referred to as being directly in front of you is Carruthers Peak: -36.4100, 148.2902
not Mt Kosciuszko or Mt Townsend the peak 3 seconds into the video.
Check it out on google earth.
-36.4559, 148.2634 Mt K
-36.4229, 148.2589 Mt T
-36.3593, 148.2511 Olsens lookout
climbtime999, Have you ever been to these places, if so you would know its impossible to see Mt Kosciuszko from Olsens Lookout.
