  • My HP 510 notebook Say the error is wireless capability is off when i turn it on it errors again and says HP wireless assistant WLAN: off and when i try to turn that on it is just like a never ending cycle

  • this is ad hoc and not wifi... phones and other gadgets such as ps3 can't use this... but it's great for laptops though..

  • I tried this and had no luck but I must say that I am using 2 usb wifi cards on widows xp. I wanted to use the first usb card to connect to the internet, and then use the 2nd usb card to share the Internet connection card number one is picking up. I guess one could call this a wifi repeater, or an AP, Or a router. But like I said, I am trying to do this using 2 usb wifi cards on windows xp. I can connect to the internet with the first card, but cant get 2nd card to srae. Help

  • It isn't really making a rooter from notebook. It's just connection sharing by ad hoc, but it can unfortunatelly work only for one device. Anyone know the way to make a PC to a rooter, without using adhoc con?

  • why does an ad hoc network not show up on the computer. Does it need something to be there? Im confused. When i hit set up a network there is not button for ad hoc.

  • This did not work for me it just says not connected under choose a wireless network. my ipod can connect to it but it does not have an internet connection. I followed this guide exactly. I could really use some help on this. thanks

  • Hey im trying to use my laptop as a router so i can use my dell desktop. if i do these steps on my laptop, can i plug an ethrenet cord from my laptop to my desktop and it will work?
