  • OMG.......now I remember when he Died. His wife was "Jessie Brewer" on

    General Hospital. Both Gone. Dam!!

  • If actors' Dean Cain and Ray Liotta somehow had a child, he would look like Jeffery Hunter!!!

  • Hermoso y merecido tributo a un talentoso actor..

Un hombre bellisimo, tanto por fuera, como por dentro...

    Gracias JEFFREY HUNTER irreemplazable!!!!

  • Jeffrey had kleig light blue eyes--even more so than Paul Newman. By the way, he may have been born in Louisiana--but he grew up in Whitefish Bay, WI---a suburb of Milwaukee (my hometown). Yeh, WI--another hometown boy!

  • A beautiful Tribute Colleen, very sweet, and timeless music.*******

  • THE BEST JESUS!

  • Gene Roddenberry used some Church of Scientology mind trick to make his head literally explode.

  • Just saw this guy was in 1986 star trek but died in 1969 so looked him up.. dont know how that happened!

    Looks like Ray Liotta.

  • What a beautiful tribute. Bar none he is the most beautiful man I have ever seen in my life time...right next to Brad Pitt

  • His last wife was Emily Mclaughlin who played Jessie Brewer on the soap General Hospital. She is buried next to him. What a shame, just like actors John Hodiak and Tyrone Power, Jeffrey died so young. Very sad....

  • If things would have gone differently he would also be known as the Captain of the USS Enterprise.

  • READ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great news! The fine biography All About Jeffrey Hunter is now at Kindke for just $1.09 !!!! Just one dollar-nine cents!

  • @Bestmanme08 I meant "Kindle"!

  • he was 43 yrs old.he died too too young....

  • All About Jeffrey Hunter is at amazon for sale!

  • Yes, I watched his film King of Kings....he played as Jesus.....very great....I heard that Jeffrey died so young....very sad! He had a beautiful bright blue eyes....nice and handsome. Thank for remember him

  • whats the name of the song on here and whos sings it?

  • "Til" by The Angels.

  • he must have had vascular disease and not known it. back then cardiology was primative. it's not unheard of, even today, someone his age who seems perfecty healthy, to suffer a stroke or heart attack. genetics-he got some bad genes. he sure got the 'looks' genes, though.

  • No, I think it´s quite sure, that the head-injuries on the set of his last movie led to a cerebral-bleeding and finally to the fatal strokes he died of much to early...

  • Combine "createspace" and ".com" and "/" and "3383532" and "/"!

  • That's a link to buy a great bio on Hunter called "All about Jeffrey Hunter"!

  • Great new bio (All About Jeffrey Hunter). Put title in and "bernier, michelle" to find it at google!

  • I loved him in King Of Kings. IMO he is the greatest actor ever to portray our Savior. RIP Jeffrey Hunter!

  • i love how this showed up on my recommended tabs... this is my dad's name. love it.

  • Jeffrey Hunter - unvergessen auch in Deutschland!

  • Should've stayed on Star Trek, Jeff. Ya wouldn't have gone to Spain to do that movie and had that bad fall that killed ya later on. Who knows, ya could have gone on to have been TJ Hooker, Denny Crane, or even the Priceline Negotiator(Karate chop!)

  • Unlikely,

He had suffered a number of strokes which appeared when he went to Spain for that movie, but there is no saying it would not have happened if he stayed in the US. It's likely that his days were fairly numbered regardless.

  • You have done it again, great actor, great tribute.

Why is it the biggest stars are not always the brightest....and the brightest not always the best...

  • THANKS!!!!!

  • Could you tell me the name of the song playing? Thanks. Great job on this!!!

  • "Til" by The Angels.

  • According to Barry Williams' book, "Growing Up Brady", Jeffrey Hunter auditioned for the part of Mike Brady, but was turned down because he looked too much like an actor or model instead of an architect. Imagine losing a role for being too good looking! How things might've turned out differently. Hunter would've made a fine Brady father. Robert Reed hated playing the part.

  • Williams' book is misinformative, mikecleona! It claims Eric Shea played Linus when Chris and Stephen Shea did!

  • @Bestmanme08 I stand corrected. It wasn't Barry Williams' book. It was a different book, "Bradymania", which stated that Jeffrey Hunter auditioned for the part of Mike Brady, and was turned down.

  • What a great actor. I loved him in the first pilot of Star Trek, "the Cage" so much that I wish he was the captain throughout the whole series.

  • Hunter's Captain Pike was, I believe, Gene Roddenberry's true vision of the Enterprise CO. Shame about him -- I also believe he was underrated as an actor. Maybe he was TOO good looking to be taken seriously by the studio honchos. Pity.

  • Yummy. I love Jeffrey Hunter! *sigh* Thanks for posting the vid!

  • Yes, there is definately a resemblance.

  • At 0:28 I would have swore at a glance that that was Ray Liotta.

  • thank you very much!!! you made me feel so sad ! i didnt know he died so young ! i saw him in "king of kings" and i felt that he was the thrue JESUS ,so handsome,so lovely, that beautiful face, that tender look...

  • He was just ...STUNNINGLY gorgeous and so completely underrated. He died way too young. This was so wonderful. Thanks!

  • Another wonderful video to honor an EXTREMELY handsome and talented man who left us far too soon! Thank you so much for taking the time to create this wonderful way to honor Jeffrey Hunter's memory, muirmaiden. I liked all your videos, but as a fan, of course I liked this one the best.

  • Thanks. The Searchers is one of my favorites. Jeff looks a lot like my Father looked in the 1970's. Unfortunately I did not get his looks.

  • Very nicely done Murimaiden...thank you for a wonderful video. :) God he was gorgeous!

  • No doubt if Jeffrey had been alive today & a young man he would be a mega star, a great actor not fully appreciated or recognized. Even though the material & quality of Films today are crap compared to 50/60s . Thanks for tribute to Jef

  • Thank you so much for this wonderful tribute to Jeffrey Hunter. I was 11 yrs. old the first time I saw him on the Silver Screen and thought he was the most handsome man I had ever seen. I'm now a senior citizen and STILL think he's the handsomest. Thanks again.

  • I wish I was half as handsome as he was. What a stud.

  • His greatest moment was playing Jesus in King of Kings. He was incredible.

  • I remember him well and yes Captian Christopher Pike. I didn't know his history but you certainly informed me well with this video. Beautifully done once again ! Lovely tribute Muirmaiden.

  • Hi thanks a lot, the guy was amazing, unfortunately i did not wath any movies but i will as soon as i can
