To the person who said it takes place in Virginia I don't know what book you read. The Woman in Black by Susan Hill takes place at the very secluded eel marsh house in Crytin Gifford. I should know, I just read it and it is the creepiest book ever.

I know the story of Woman in Black; it's not set in a "remote" village, it's in Virginia 'cause I read the story with my cousins this summer. the only thing I'm disappointed in is the location. I won't say more cause it'll probably ruin the movie

Well Momentum Pictures have banned me from commenting of the "Official" Woman in Black trailer, but I still think it's an appalling oversight to have left the TV ariel on Eel Marsh House in a story supposedly set in the early 1900's. If they can make that mistake in a 40 second trailer how full of holes is the rest of the film going to be?!

The Woman in Black is one of the scariest stories out there. The play adaptation was so popular that it has been running consecutively in England for over 20 years. There was a tele-movie made of it which was just as terrifying. I hope with a big budget, they do the story justice.

I went to see this at a theatre in London and everyone was literally hiding under their seats. I watch scary movies the whole time but this was on a whole new level- if the film is even half as scary it will be awesome!!
