It actually makes sense to have Zant be saying Leonidas' "This is Sparta!" line. Remember, he was working for a greater evil, and then he severes his ties with Ganondorf after G-man is defeated by Link. So it does work out in a way.

He can. If you look close, he talks to Illia in the beginning. Nintendo describes Link as a "Quiet boy, in a green Tunic" So he can talk, he just doesn't do it often, and he's quiet when he does, that's all.

Well I think what actually MATTERS is your impeccable timing with the audio. The scenes you used were perfect. Granted, you're not trying to mix 300 and this together and trying to get all the characters right to who they would be in 300 or Zelda ... as some people would believe ... but what matters is that it entertained. What you have is very good, but here are some suggestions. For the "This is Sparta!" part, you could have had Link knocking the orc general off his boar. For the "Thousand Nations", have the army of enemies. Lastly, for "Dine in Hell!", you could have had Ganondorf charging towards Link and Zelda. You still did an excellent job.
