the toa wernt created by mata nui they were created by Artakha on Artakha not in karda nui they were sent to karda nui to help and protect the av matoran

they did where great masks the combine masks were the golden kanohi that had all the powers of the masks its made out of

toa tahu was the first to wash up not kopaka

"toa of rock" almost right the official name is stone but i cant harp on you to much since rock and stone is the same thing

Ah, my childhood. I used to have all six of these. The green one was my first one, and so it was my favorite as well. Unfortunately, my mom threw every Lego creation I ever made into a box within a week after making it. The Bionicles held up a lot longer than the normal Legos because the connections were actually pretty sturdy, but I'd still be fucked if I could find the pieces to put even one of them together at this point.

Has anyone seen the cheap containers of parts they dare call toa nowadays? I bought one the other day and it was much smaller than the original, and the only resemblance to its 2001 counterpart was the mask. I sorta figured they would remake them sooner or later but these new ones aren't much compared to the old.

First yes they are the great kanohi. only toa can wear the great kanohi. the great kanohi are the ones that have powers. second it was actually tahu that washed up first not Kopaka, even though it is flipped in the comic. trust me i asked Greg himself.

One more thing, you built almost all of your guys wrong. As you mentioned, your Onua has jet black arms, but you didn't mention the fact that your Pohatu has Yellow Lighting instead of having Orange. Which is what he originally came with. Also, all of your Toa that have an arm that doesn't use a gear (ex. Tahu's non-fire sword arm) use the same function as Lewa's "hand arm", where, instead of having a stopper piece instead of a gear, they just have a half plus rod, half circle connector piece.
