@narishbeatle and im pretty sure a year is enough time to put policies in place. especially after 2008 the democrats have really created a bigger mess and look at the deficit. you cant clean up a mess by making a bigger one
I praise all the Democrats in this video except for the "Democrat" at the end. Joe Lieberman deserves no credit for the 2006 Democratic takeover of Congress, and I feel ashamed that this man is representing my state. A real Democratic will be taking his seat in 2012, so he's enjoying his final years in politics as we speak.
This was a great night for Democrats, and America. It resulted in an end to the corruption of the GOP Congress, and a powerful message to the then-current (appointed) POTUS. It was a great preview of Election Night 2008. This is a majority we must retain this November. Let the party work on its rough areas, keep promises, and fix the economy. I still have confidence in the current Congress.
@VoiceHunter Now as an Independent thinker, the scales are reversed. Democrats are no less corrupt than the GOP and that's saying the least! I'm sick of the Democratic control and look forward to true change--the change that's not progressively (worse) found under Democrats. Yes, it's time for promises to be kept, kick out the Washington establishment and hypocricy and keep integrity. It's time to change power back to the GOP.
@RichPeru63 Good to see you support raising the retirement age to 70, placing big government restrictions on abortion and who you can marry, spending and spending money on war, and getting assholes like John Boehner and Mitch McConnell in high offices. :-)
@VoiceHunter I think I like you. Yes, only bad things can happen with Republicans in power, as you saw from Bush/Cheney. But if you like oil spills due to corporate deregulation, I guess one might favor Republicans, and if one wants to destroy the economy again as Bush/Cheney did, you mighty also favor Republicans. And the Republican Party masquerading as the Tea Party isn't fooling anyone. You know it's bad when their reputation is so tarnished they have to make a new party. ' ' )
@p2proxtheworld Thanks! I find it funny how this oil spill can (indirectly) be traced back all the way to Bush's culture of deregulation. Just another mess-up showing its effects. And the Tea Party is the biggest insult I have ever seen in my life. It's the new "libertarians," or "patriots," or however they're trying to market their disgusting name. But any group with Michelle Bachmann's or Sarah Palin's endorsement tells you what it really is.
Maybe of the Republicans wouldn't make up their damn minds and say "no" to anything and everything before they even know what they're saying no to they wouldn't have to be so irrelevant.
first of all , bush didnt have a plan goin into "iraq" the main reason he said he went into "iraq" is he thought saddam had WMD which was false(which the intelligence told him)he had the capacity to make wmd's and democrats are trying to work with "bush" to form a new strategy on this failed policy in iraq!!
both parties suck, the one that won was the one that sucked the least. we are screwed either way. but i felt more safer with the republicans in charge.
What is this new direction the Democrats speak of?? Its past time for Democrats to move past the slogans. They got voted in without outlining their plan.
That is making history!
Democrats, Iraq is now a battle in YOUR war on terror.
What bullshit! When are Americans going to get it? Congradulations! You've now been passed from the Bloods to the Crips America! They're right though about the 'cooperation' with Republicans though. Now we'll truly see how destroying this country is a bipartisan effort. Did you hear Nancy Pelosi on Bush's impeachment? She'll block any attempt to impeach the puppet. The scum that runs this country will always protect their own kind, so don't buy into this staged WWF scam... pure theater.

You know why the Democrats won? Because "Republicans Suck" (UnrepentantMan's video) - http://www.youtube.COM/watch?v=66COez-8jpk
It's about time those racist Republicans stopped running our country into the ground.
