@kichukdave I don't know what your discussion is about, but regarding Zelda, while the story is fairly simplistic, man-saves-princess, much of what surrounds the story is based on real life. Ocarina of Time is a good example. It took many themes from the Celts and Ireland, Epona was a Celtic god of horses, trees were worshiped, mirror shields were invented by the Celts, The trinity was a powerful Celtic symbol and is also important in Ocarina of time (triforce, 3 goddesses). Among other things.
