I have a jack russell terrier x springer and we have been doing agility for about 6 months now, we can run a full course (obviously a lot easier than expert ones as i'm only a junior handler) but we've been in contests and won rosettes before and he loves it (:
I have a German Shepard/Great Pyrinese/Labrador Retriever that has also learned all the agility obstacles, disc moves, flyball, and doggy dance moves and this shows any dog can do anything especially since he learned all that in two months!!!
I have a Cane Corso, who does agility. Sure, he is huge, but he can do agility better than most dogs. I also have a border collie puppy who knows all the agility obstacles and commands.
I have a shetland sheepdog and i introduced him almost everything in the same day so that proves how much u can accomplish in one day. He also seems to enjoy it very much and he has only been doing it for about a month now and he's great. Another thing to take note about is that he has a problem with his hind right foot and he still is great so if your dig has any kind of problem it shouldn't stop you and your dog from having lots of fun! We are going to a camp that you get to bring your dog to!
@wildlydancing do you by chance live in IL I would like to be in a dog camp also but the only problem is I can't find anywhere here in IL plus all the places i've found say i'm too young X(
nice shout out to the coon hound! I have one but she certainly is not tied up in the backyard!
