@junitono1 yes life probably does exist outside our solar system. Some of the stars are far older than our sun and so would the planets that orbit them. Until a real alien visits earth and proves that space and time travel are very real, all theories are just that, THEORIES! Just because scientists and theorists TODAY, can't figure out how thing were done back then, does not mean everything was the result of aliens. Why 1%? Why not 5, 10, 25%. If we're going to pick an arbitrary number out of thin air, than 0% is just as likely right. It's compelling to pick a really low percentage and conclude that out of billions of stars there must be life out there on at least one planet. How did that evolve from primates who don't carry these traits? this is what I'm talking about when I say you have to look at this subject in a comprehensive way.
