You guys rock, keep up the good work. There's something about the simplicity of two acoustic guitars that just hits the right chord, pun intended I guess.
I've been enjoying all of videos... You guys play the best of everyone that I like, The Dead, Dylan, Beatles etc... Do you take requests...lol... how about The Ballad of Frankie Lee and Judas Priest by Dylan but sung like Jerry on Garcia/Grisman album Been All Around the World... I hope to make it to Tucson next spring for the Tucson Folk Festival, hopefully you guys will play there :) Just Awesome.... Thanks
@hog275 One should never be where one does not belong.... It would take me an eternity to learn the words to that tune, but it sure is a good one! See you in Tucson!!!!
Hey there dddh, Thanks for the kind words and nudge for us to put up some more tunes! It is greatly appreciated. Dave and I played together last night for the first time in a long while!! It has been way too long indeed. Hopefully, we'll have something posted for you in the not too distant future. Thanks so much for your support, and please stay tuned!!
You know, guys, you have talent. But YouTube is full of "Tangled Up in Blue" covers in which the singers follow Dylan's inflections almost exactly, which is pretty much what you're doing. And that's just plain boring. Why don't you SING this (as opposed to Dylan's sing-speech) in your true voice, and the hell with Dylan's inflections? I'll bet that such a version would be TERRIFIC.
Thank you for the suggestion. Sure, we love to see our numbers go up, and we love nice comments, but we're not fishing for them. If we were going to take Handmade Groove the road, or try to make money with it, I would try to market and promote our stuff. As it currently stands, I like it when people stumble upon our videos--like you!
Keep in touch and be careful what you suggest...You may become our business manager!
Just now noticed this. Incredible rendition. But, obviously I'd like to especially thank you for your dedication. He'd be incredibly happy to know he made that sort of impact on you.
love early dylan. . . fits ur style even more than phish. . .of course either one has inferior voices to u guys. . .my idols have really bad hoarse throats. . .too much pot or something :)
Hey thanks for the kind words about our rendition of this tune. I appreciate it very much, and am especially happy for the vocal support too! I also think Dave sings very well. His guitar skills are so fine his singing may at times be overlooked!! Thanks for your continued support.
Nice, another out of the park original take on one of the great Bob Dylan classics... nice video effects too! You guys should seriously consider puting a demo cd out there. Loved the noodling around the 5:35ish mark - just wonder what it would sound like to drop right into China Cat at that point??? Just one of those things that made me say "hmm?"
Fantastic, you guys would go down great at our local plug and play night (but it's a bit far to travel) How's about some more grateful dead covers? You do them so well! Keep 'em coming.

My good friend Dave,
I have a friendly suggestion:
To get your view count up you must do the following:
Subscribe to all youtube channels that you can, especially the ones that are similar to yours... this will def draw more attention to your videos.
I hope it helps..
Much love from the very south,
AP

j/k
woodwardz1 2 years ago
That's really funny. There are about 250 songs to do before that...but THEN.... Also, can we skip the first 7 minutes of Time Turns Elastic?
sneakypower 2 years ago
you can skip the whole thing as far as I'm concerned!
