Zombies are the "living dead" Infected are people infected with a disease or virus (in this movie "rage' is what they are infected with). But my friend told me something interesting, is that this could somewhat relate to AIDS, because AIDS he said comes from monkeys and then it came along to humans. So maybe this movie is about AIDS in some way?

this exact disease isnt real but there is one similar to it, and it is not explained how the virus spread to europe. Just that it did and will most likely spread to America

I think people are assuming that the helicopter has crashed, look close enough and you can see a road beside it in the background and it looks leveled like it landed safely. They probably landed to refuel.

nope.. it's the helicopter Andy & (what's her name?) escaped in.. remember, it's another 4 weeks later, you wouldn't sit & wait in a helicopter for 4 weeks would you? you'd get the hell out of there, search for possible other survivors...

the french guy asking for help is only more proof that that helicopter is located in France.. radio waves from a security officer (guarding the Channel tunnel in Calais) don't travel to England, they are picked up by the abandoned Helicopter...

the security officer's probably killed or infected by the Infected by then.. and so they arrive in Paris, through the Channel tunnel & over the main land of Europe, spreading in all directions, including some heading to Paris :)

Now the thing is, that boy just hell could not have re-started the infection in Paris.

I mean take the secyrity measures, surely after first affection (told in 28 days later) left Paris with UN security detachment able to handle up coming infections and surely the UN re-construction forces had to be stationed somewhere in Franche in order to be fully available to London Security 1 Zone if needet.

Also I don`t think this boy would be kissing and emo angsting his blood all around the walls.
