Oh my goodness this was HILARIOUS!! I am a stay at home mom and the other moms in my mothers' group and I laugh about these same things all the time! It's great to spend time with your kids, and if you're a stay at home mom, then you (by definition) spend a lot of time with your kids. Giving them space and showing them that it's alright for Mommy to have her own friends and go out with them, teaches them independence and is healthy.

We may like to have a glass of wine with each other and laugh. You may like yoga, reading a book, taking a bath. WAIT! I do those things as well. Are those things acceptable? I am in the video so I'm assuming you think I am not a responsible parent. My point is, get some help. It is okay to admit you are not perfect. Trust me, you are going to mess your kids up a lot more if you are constantly in their face. Now if you will excuse me, I'm off to teach my kids some more four letter words.

Hey g, I'm seriously wondering if you need some counseling. A lot of SAHMs deal with depression, feeling overwhelmed with being "supermom", etc. I'm concerned you are holding a lot in and eventually your head is going to explode. What kind of message is that going to send to your children? It isn't healthy for you to spend all your time with them and not do anything for yourself.

I try to remain neutral, as a blogger who believes everyone is entitled to their opinion, but gggkkk, you are acting EXACTLY like the JUDGEMENTAL moms we joked in the video! Moms should be supporting each other, not criticizing each other. You're perfect, we get it, now move along. Or better yet, keep commenting as it makes my google stats go up.

I guess it depends on your definition of "great mom" and "occasionally." But the fact that you say you facebook "ALL the time" makes me wonder about your definition of "great" and "occasional" drinking! I guess if a mom facebooking all the time is the definition of a "great mom," then I guess I'm a poor mom because I'd rather spend time with my kids.

If these kids "real" moms are shopping for them at Target, signing them up for story time at the library, buying them organic food, using cloth diapers, looking for craft ideas on interest and talking about how smart they are...then your right, what a problem. Bad moms go out to dinner with friends and have a glass of wine and use Facebook- what is the world coming to?

The problem is that for many kids, this is the behavior of their REAL moms...not stereotypes. And while this may be funny for some adults, lots of kids watch youtube too. It might be funny if it was a stereotype and not the reality.

@gggkkk2012 Did you hit your head?! This video was hilarious! I consider myself and great mom and I can relate to all that stuff. Being a good mom consists of being well rounded. Just because I have kids, does not mean I am no longer free to be me. Your kids deserve for you to lighten up. You definately have NO business passing judgment on other moms- period! NO mother is perfect, and yes that means you!

@gggkkk2012 Hey, here's a question... do "responsible" Moms also teach their children to be hypercritical and bitchy, or is that just something your own special little thing you throw in there extra? It's great to spend time with your kids, and if you're a stay at home mom, then you (by definition) spend a lot of time with your kids. Giving them space and showing them that it's alright for Mommy to have her own friends and go out with them, teaches them independence and is healthy.
