@LoneSola In the 1977 version of A New Hope, Jabba's scene was cut because he was played by a human actor and the tone of it wasn't right. It also didn't fit very well in the film as Lucas believed it may be the only one he was able to make - laying the story for later on with Jabba and the criminal underworld coming after Solo was filling up time in the original film and wasting money on SFX for it wasn't an option. Jabba was put in Episode IV in the 1997 Special Edition re-release.

1.) Jabba the Hutt.

2.) Pizza Hut rocks.

3.) He got put back in, in the Special Editions, which alot of people disagree with, but whatever, i think it adds alot.

For example, Boba Fett was also with Jabba,

which explains why Boba, when Darth hired tons of Bounty Hunters, was able to find him so quickly.
